I’ll be there on Sunday and possibly at Gworks on Thursday before if people still go up there now that the game is out.

The monday thing popping off or no? I’ll come out just to get into the scene. My stick should be here in this week… Waiting sucks.
so for Ignite Networks, it will be at most $10 at the door. I am talking to them to have it be $5, which will cover the whole time there (not $5 per hour). They have 11 tv monitors with 2 ms response time. They have systems there, but they have them behind the counter and connected to the tvs with like 50 foot hdmi cables, so we need to bring systems over so that we can connect our arcade sticks and play.
they will section off the left side, and it will be left available to us. the separate PC gaming area will still be $5 per hour if people want to play there.
we are still on for tomorrow. we just need systems, if people can bring xboxes or ps3s, and also games they want to play.
i may run a test tournament, just very casual.
so who is planning on going?
What time does it start and end? And is it going to be an AE fest or are other games going on? SF4 only session was alright for Friday but I wanna play games I know how to play too… I’ll probably be there.
i would like to start at setting up at 6 pm, and officially start at 6:30, and keep going until 11 pm. people can stay until closing, but i will probably leave at 11 pm because i have to wake up for work.
you can bring whatever games you want. i m mostly playing mvc3, and also see how gg is on those monitors.
Stop saying that it has 2ms response time cause RESPONSE TIME HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH INPUT DELAY/LAG. I think Mondays are terrible days for something that you would want to be consistent but I guess it doesn’t hurt giving it a shot. You guys cant get any day from Thursday - Sunday?

Well good stuff organizing everything everyone, I hope that everyone continues to keep making your scene stronger. I may post less and less on these boards as well with the exception of just moderating the OP which I promise will get revamped. Going to try and focus on my game a lot more now and I probably wont do anymore gatherings. Anyways I will be watching :).
well right now, the day might change. we are just trying it out for now, since tuesdays people go to deadxiii’s, wednesday they have an event which is girls play free (i think people show up for rock band or something), thursdays people go to gameworks, fridays they have a starcraft meetup, so a lot of people gather there for starcraft. mondays don’t conflict with any events, but otherwise, i think wednesday might work out better for everyone.
I might come and watch at Gameworks, but would I still have to drop $15?
Would you guys need me to bring a system? I think I can do that but I don’t have AE.
And geez, I think I’m the youngest in here at age 19. Haha.

No for Gameworks it is $10 for unlimited play on Thursday Nights starting at 9:00PM which is also when the age restriction is set to 21 and over. To spectate it is free anytime before 9:00 since you arent 21 yet.
Eric try to get them to replace the buttons and the stick switch boards before the tournament if possible. They are pretty beat up…
Also I am going to be grinding online a bunch now, the net code got improved even more in AE :).

I would definitely be there if you can make it so it’s on any weeknight other than wednesday and if it has to be weekend on Friday. I’ve been trying to regularly meetup with either someone from the board or at Dead’s weekly, and it’s really been helping my game, so I’m all about regular meetups. Thanks for putting in the work to try to arrange this by the way.
Getting my brakes done on Sunday, I’ll try and make it to GW because last time was too fun.
Also, Joe, thanks for loaning me the PS3. It’s already come in handy for testing. I’m trying to keep my cats off it as well, lol.
