Love the game so far. The only thing I can’t stand is that half screen proxy guard in the game. AA’s without upper are pretty tough too (Kula’s jumping C is insane omg).

amazon’s got all sorts of HRAP sticks though. i think they sell for same price or cheaper, use the same parts, so that’s an option too i guess

Thanks for the points to the TE Sticks. I’m an xbox user so that was the problem I had locating just a regular old TE stick. I’ll probably just go with the S edition (would go with the mvc stick, but, they’re out).

Anyone think about holding an “Event” for Trance? Something small but if nothing else fun.

All part of a good community I think… If we had decent turn out (and I’m with you on the “days I’m not working” bit) we could have some fun and probably do some good for a guy who is having some bad luck. I good sized group can do a lot with a little from each of its members.

I want to invite everyone to my own special event next SATURDAY(JUNE 4TH)!!!

It will be a BBQ / Casuals / Socializing day!!! Though I am not going to be buying any food as I am dirt poor atm but am willing to get some drinks / utensils / plates and that sort of stuff. I will have the grill ready for people to bring over meats and will be willing to cook it for you!!! Ill probably pick up some burgers / hotdogs to try and help but I cant do much :(. Anyways it will be a great time so please come and show up, we should have a very good amount of setups and games going all day and night. Here is the info for anyone who wants to come and get to know the community a bit more and have some fun gaming and eating!!! ALSO it is at a house with a very decent amount of room so come on through!

Please bring setups, extra foldable chairs, food, meats drinks, and your asses over to this day! I expect it to run from 4:00PM - 3:00AM at least. Remember there will be plenty of room, so don’t hesitate to show up!

Jimmy from Collect a Card N Comics emailed me back. I talked to him on the phone for a bit. He says he has space for about 80 people. I have a meeting with him on Monday. This place is CTA accessible. Also it is off of the 55. It is right off Archer and Harlem. If people don’t want to bus it, I can pick people up from either Midway Airport Orange Line or Kedzie Orange Line.

So on a serious topic. What should i expect from this. I guess what I’m to say is:

What days should I look for?
Would people be interested?
Will he want to charge venue,? How much?

Any other questions? I can’t think of anything else.

I know that we would need to supply TV’s, game and game consoles and power strips. I have 3 tube TV’s I can bring.

He has 11 tables we can use. I guessing maybe two set ups for every table?

Domingo, would you like to swing by to talk as well on Monday?

I’m also waiting on everyone else that I emailed. Hopefully I get a response by the end of the week.

I Know jimmy a little bit Personally ( used to play Pokemon back in the day… dont judge lol) his space is huge I could possibly talk to him to see if i can nudge him in our direction a bit. i haven’t spoke to him in a while though

I use to play pokemon there back in the day. When Al was still running the place. I remember having to play against Jimmy and his kids alot in tournaments.

Who where you? Did you play anything else? I usually played a blastoise deck, a blastoise/ feralgatr deck and when the NEO expansion came out I played a cleffa/feraligatr deck due to restrictions. I had other decks as well. When they canceled pokemon, I WAS UPSET! I took two weeks off to buy cards and create a new deck for the new rules. This deck was filled with rape!!! When I came back, Al told me pokemon was dead. Never got to play that deck. I still have all my cards and decks. I tried playing yugioh but that didn’t work out. I had a good deck but when they started to ban cards that really didn’t need banning, I moved on to other things.
Yeah, he told me the shop has gotten alot bigger since he became the owner. He told me he could host 80 people. Jimmy is a cool guy, I have a meeting with him on Monday. Tactics said he was down to go. We’ll see whats up.

So MTGCHICAGO just called me. They are also interested in hosting. I have a meeting set up with them tomorrow anytime after 5. Anyone want to go with me? Nives? Domingo? Northsiders?

This is the info that I got.

Guys name is George. He has done something simular to what I’ve emailed about. He is the one showing interest.
They have about 6-8 tables. with a capacity of 40 people.
We would need to provide power strips and full set ups. (Similar to Collect A Card N Comics)

Any suggestions?

Same goes for Collect A Card N Comics. Aside from Domingo, any people from the southside portion of chicago interested in going on monday?
