Also we are running the next Tracks tournament on the 25th in Milwaukee. NO VENUE FEE.

Marcos Grande said he was going to try to bring some people. Hopefully a lot of people show up. We’ve been having decent turnouts but it’s nice to see some Chicago players up there as well.

There actually is a train that has a stop within a block or two of the GGA.

Just get off the train and walk to ogden (south like 1 block) and you should see it across the street.

Also I’m planning on driving to MWC, was there anyone else that was planning on going?

didn’t actually get to play there, the facility doesnt look bad, but they connect all their game systems with like 50 yard cables or some crap like that (so they can keep the ps3’s by the counter and avoid possible theft).

anyhow, they told me they would set something up for us if we give them a headsup, and also cut a special discount if enough people came.

Nives, did you call those guys? We went there on Monday and they seemed pretty eager for business. Only problem was we couldn’t plug our fightsticks into the ps3 at all. It sounded like if we had wireless ps3 sticks or xbox 360 sticks they could probably accomodate us.

Might as well clear this up, since I’ve taken the train out to GGA several times.

Trains don’t stop at Congress Park that often, you likely won’t be using that station. Trains don’t stop there AT ALL on weekends. You might be able to catch a train to Congress Park on a weekday, but you won’t be able to catch one back since the last train back to Chicago is at 8:30 am.

This is the schedule for every train that stops at Congress Park (M-F only): Union Station => Congress Park, Congress Park => Union Station
