I use jab into roll too much so I was trying to use more jab > elec punishers and counters but overdid it. Lost to three different Balrogs. Missed a lot of AAs because I was messing around too much and just playing stupid.
Watching UFGT matches because I was busy all weekend.

hmm, looking at the AE frame data, the changesare the following
slide active frames reduced by 3 - only drawback is a slight distance decrease and meaty slide cannot be plus frames now.
overhead/rockcrusher recovery frames reduced one - Allows for better use of overhead, common meaty setup of dash overhead post sweep will be +4 now. no drawbacks. Wish they had made double knees +4
everything else is the same it looks like because the only other differences are messups in the super frame data.
So much for all of those mysterious buffs.
I’ve got tagged tooo many times linking s.lp after knees online. Pain in the ass. I can get used to lag to an extent but that link is one step beyond most times. Bravado aside, eyeryone here must feel the pain too. No buffering/plinking, it just won’t come out before rvsl srk . Pity it isn’t buffed.

SRK wiki has the wrong damage for Blanka’s U1.
Oh also another change is that none of the startup for Blanka’s ultra is preflash now, which kinda sucks, desperation ultra isn’t going to catch as many people hitting buttons.
But yeah everyone should get overhead -> ultra down now and try to abuse it.

the second hit of the overhead has 4 active frames.
the overhead having 4 recoveryframes now, isnt it possible to hit it meaty (sweep, dash, overhead) so you get +7 frames to link another sweep???

Played a set versus Playingtowin’s Sim. I suck at fighting sim, but I learned some stuff. Buffered elec to beat/trade with limbs is awesome.
You can currently link sweep after overhead!
That setup does not work because sweep only knocks down 48 frames. When you dash you are ~+27, meaty overhead hits on frame 28, because frame 27 is a gap, however in AE you are +4 here now which lets you link ultra on everyone(not just Blanka), and allows you to link jab easier, and link short easier. You are now +5 against opposing Blanka so there is probably like overhead, low forward, xx ball vs. him.
A setup to land sweep off of sweep is, sweep, whiff cr.mk, overhead sweep. Only works on fat guys in the corner. Now if you get a counterhit, sweep linking might be practical mid screen now. Could happen if someone wakes up crouch teching.
You can get overhead more meaty off of f.throw. I think the setup is f.throw, jab ball, dash, overhead. It’s been awhile. Should leave you like +7 or +8 in AE
I’m not going to lie, I’m going to play that costume at every place that has it, it is so stupid and makes things way more ambiguous.

played a pretty good dhalsim player lately on a tournament and I beat him without problems by using jab-Ball.
ball trades with limbs in your favour + you get in!
if you find the right spacing after trading a couple of limbs he is afraid of doing anything, cuz you can punish fire with slide!
this is the perfect opportunity to poke your way in!
okay, elec should do the same job, though…
I rambled a bit, basically off of a sweep you can’t get in range to land another overhead meaty enough to get another sweep because of the distance it puts you at.
Are these the mistakes or are they actual changes:
Far HK(nerf?)
Far HP
Far MK
Throw range
Lets hope some of his hitboxes were buffed behind the scenes.
what were you seeing about those?
