If you FACD a projectile, I notice it seems to have the same affect as JDing it except you don’t get any life back.
Sagat vs Sagat, slow low tiger shots are risky because if they throw a high tiger shot I think it hits you. I don’t know if both of us where just scrubby, but it seemed like whoever went low got tagged by the high tiger shot and the low tiger shot just got blocked.
I tend to very rarely save meter for super with Sagat, as ex fireball wins a lot of wars vs online shoto’s (I tend to always have more meter than them) and ex-uppercut deals so much damage.
I tend to find combo’s ending in tiger uppercut deal more damage than those ending in tiger shot or tiger knee.
I think I saw someone hit a tiger knee after a tiger uppercut. I think it might be very situational, ie counter hit someone in the air, they pop up and eat a knee or kara knee on the way down. Definitely need to check that out for sure, because maximizing damage is the bee’s knees.

Was talking with Shawn and Anthony today, and I felt I needed to get this out.
The entire 3P/3K thing is really stupid. It all started because Thomas was upset he lost to Paul and instead of giving credit where credit is due, he disrespected him. Whether or not that’s what he intended is up in the air, but that’s ultimately what he did.
As for as both sides of “It’s default!” and “It’s not fair to have one button due a command that requires three” both have valid points. If one side can’t understand why the other is right, then they’re just close minded pricks.
On a personal note, I see where both sides are coming from. I believe that because this is a new game and it is attracting new blood that didn’t grow up in arcades like we did, we have to accommodate them for the good of the scene. However, things have to be kept fair. Therefore, for the PnT tournaments, 3P & 3K will be allowed on both pads AND sticks. If you choose not to have a 3P/3K, it’s your choice. If your stick only has 6 buttons, I’m sorry but them’s the breaks. They are default controls, but to only allow them for one because it’s not as hard to do on the other isn’t fair. If any pad player believes a stick player shouldn’t have access to 3P/3K just like they do, then the pad player shouldn’t have them either. As much as we want to keep things true to the arcade, we’re ultimately a console country. Also, we’re never going to see an SF4 cabinet here, so why should we follow the standards? We need change :lol:
The one thing that definitely needs to happen though, is that Thomas needs to apologize on BOTH TZ and SRK to Paul. The disrespect on one board is one thing, but bringing it to another board is just an attempt to start beef by rallying people to Thomas’ argument. It might not have been intended that way, but that’s what happened. Paul deserves an apology from him.
And I’m done with the subject. Real talk.
Rob: I think you can hold down after the Tiger Shot to remain crouching. High Tiger Shot is faster though than low. You can also combo into TK off of TU xx FADC and TU at certain distances. I believe it hits off of anti-air f+hk as well.

Discuss? I don’t agree with it myself. Rufus and Gouken are both A material. C. Viper should be at the top of the Cs. Dhalsim is B at the least. Abel is arguable low B. Cammy I think is actually a low C after finally messing with hre a bit. Dan is at the worst a D. I definitely think the gap between top and bottom is minuscule though. The game definitely feels like there are some blatant counter match-ups though, so having 2 or 3 characters you play seems to be a necessity. Blanka vs. Boxer is a terrible match-up for Blanka. There’s almost nothing he can really do.

Sagat’s two best fierces are HK, and F+HK (Which is a situational anti air that important to learn as f+hk combos into f+hk and ultra)
His fp and c.fp are good, but not cvs2 good.
Oh, and jump in FK is his best air to ground jump in.
Dictator’s jumping FK and standing FK are good too. I think the reason dictator is so good is because his normals are really nice.
Boxer is boxer and Ryu is good cause he has good tools and damage.
Viper is moving up, but she’s REALLY execution dependent and mind game dependent. Blanka’s considered good too, with most of his matches being even or 6-4.

I think that nothin should be changed as far as having one button 3punch and kick. If you have a stick with 6 buttons and you know you cant possibly make it to where u hav 1button to have all 3 punches or kicks, then thats ur problem. You should have came prepared and had a stick wit 8 buttons so you can have that option. I dont believe that people who use pad(like myself:rock:) should have to change DEFAULT controls cuz someone made a mistake an didnt bring a stick wit 8 buttons an doesnt hav the option of having 1button for 3punches and kicks. DEFAULT IS DEFAULT. If someone trys to take that shit up wit capcom there gonna get laughed at. The buttons have always been that way. y change it now because someone didnt come prepared??? The idea is to have fun. Not complain bout how you got beat cuz of button setup. If they do the hk tiger shot at the same time as your low tiger shot, or slightly before, you will always be hit. Zoning sagat with sagat, low tiger shot is extremely risky.
Unfortunately, when it comes to tiers, I just don’t know enough about certain characters to make any judgement on them.
Cammy, Dhalsim, Rose, Dan, Gouken, Seth, Chun, Honda, Vega… I don’t know crap about them 
Sakura can deal damage, and get in, but requires being able to hit some really hard links to do it consistently.
Gen takes damage like a woman.
I steer clear of trying to make full on tier lists and just refer to certain characters as good I just need to read more to see what’s what. 
Before I had to go to school, I was trying to unlock Fei Long this morning on my 360 but I can’t beat the game with fucking Abel!! And, to unlock Fei Long you need to beat the game with Abel. How unfortunate…
Fei Long seems like a cool rushdown character judging from what Prima Strategy guide says about him. So, I’d like to play with him in addition to Sagat.
I actually pulled off a tiger uppercut, FADC, ultra combo in a match…yeah, 1 out of 100 now! I’m on a roll. I find it easier right now to do the ultra combo without the kick first for some reason.
I’m playing on a street fighter pad if that should matter about execution or whatnot??? Is it easier to do things on a joystick? That’s the 2 million dollar question of the day…
Good Games last night Jerome LOL sorry about the lag guess we can rematch later with Fei Long and Chun Li… Dictator is my Best atm next to Sagat… Love the EX head stomp and the ultra is nice to use if you can connect with the medium punch target combo and land and do the Ultra is good damage… Im sort of liking Dhalsim Messed around with his moves like the fact you can combo the Ultra with the super with the teleport since the Ultra is so slow flowing across the screen pretty cool. Saw a Youtube video of an avid Player using that tactic pretty sweet set up
Beating arcade with Abel is insanely easy, crossovers into rekkas and once they’re down all you have to do is repeatedly dash up and light punch Tornado Throw.

The only thing you should know about Dan is that he’s the best character in the game. Everyone can dispute this all they want but I’m only speaking gospel truth here.
I’m finding it easier to play charge characters on a stick but I’m guessing the majority of people will tell you that everything is easier on a stick.
Reading what Anthony and Josh posted, I like to see where I disrespected Paul. I don’t see me calling names or nothing. I gave the man GG’s after he left and that was it. I told that man at the end of the night that There is no such thing as shoulder buttons. Everyone else took it out of whack. As far as SFIV, I’m thinking that this is what newbie Sagat strategy is:
-zone with varying speeds of the low tiger
-anti-air with tiger uppercut or f+hk depending on how far they jump at you from
-learn f+hk, ultra because its awesome
-use c. mk to poke at people and jumping light kick is his cross up
