Cool little trick to go straight to the last page

I’ve known this for a while, but maybe some of y’all still don’t, so I’m going to share this cool little trick that save you a few seconds every time you get on the forums and you just want to go to the LAST page of the Charleston, SC’s forum so you don’t have to read all the old shit. These instructions are very detailed so even a person who doesn’t know anything about computers except for surfing the internet can still do this:

Assuming You’re using FireFox:
0. Make sure you see “Charleston, SC Prepare Yourself!” at the top left of your browser. That’s the title and that’s what you want to bookmark.

  1. Click on “Bookmarks” at the top and click “Bookmark this page”. Or, just press ctrl + d. ****
  2. Click “Done” to save it to your bookmarks
  3. Click “Bookmarks” again, scroll down to the shoryuken link and RIGHT click. The link will more than likely say, “Charleston, SC Prepare Yourself” unless you changed the name of it.
  4. After right clicking it, click “Properties”
  5. Put the cursor inside “Location” text box.
  6. Add “&p=99” or if there is already a “&p=XX” just change XX to 99.
  7. Click “Save Changes” and you’re done. From now on, when you click the bookmark to go to Charleston, SC forums…it’ll go straight to page 99 and since there’s usually no page 99 anyways, it’ll just go to the last page.

March 7th, the Saturday before Final Round, Play N’ Trade in West Ashley is running tournaments for Call of Duty (4 or World at War, undecided right now) and Street Fighter IV.

Same deal. $5 for one game, $7 for both. Prizes dependent on amount of entrants.

Unlike Gamestop though, you can use your own controller! SF4 will be available on both PS3 & 360.

Speaking of Gamestop, Zane says he’s going to the Azalea Gamestop for their tournament. The top 2 placers from each store advance to the 2nd round, so doubling up on a store shouldn’t be a problem. Rob & Chris are taking the one on Dorchester Rd. I’ve got Harrell Sq, Chris T has Citadel Mall, Paul has Goose Creek. Who am I missing?

For those of you going to Gamestops tournaments, if you could perhaps spread the word that there’s going to be an SF4 tournament at PnT in W.A. that allows you to use your own control pad/joystick.

I’m bringing a camera to record match vids too. I can only take up to an hour of footage though. Anyone else have one they can bring?

GG’s Charleston… You guys were all really cool and I had a good time here while it lasted. Ill try to catch up with you guys at Final Round… and ill definitely be back to visit… take care guys… :lovin:

Bad news guys. SF4 tournaments @ Gamestop are single elimination. So try and sweet talk your way to being placed at complete and total opposite ends of the bracket from one another. Tell them you’re related. In Chris & John’s case, Chris is his manager while John spits hot fiyah.

The good news is that PnT’s SF4 tournament will be double elim, something to mention to the other people. This is also not only a good time to advertise the PnT tournament, but an even better opportunity for the community in the area to grow.

Let’s see if we can get some new blood in here. Crappy little tournaments like the ones Gamestop is throwing will be one of the best ways to get some new heads around here without the presence of SF4 in the arcade.
