You can use df.MP > df.HP to perform Heavy Languish wish ease.
Really enjoying this character so far!
Heavy Languish scales a lot, I think you can get more damage if you just replace it with cr.HP

Ok so on whiffed Shoryukens Lili can safely punish with these:
and these do good damage and also put these shoto mofos back into the ground where they belong. this is when you can apply more pressure. Did you guys know you can link c.MP --> c.MK --> Dendrobrium? That is like plinking Ryu’s combo strings in SSF4! Is it me or is her j.mk REALLY good for crossups?
One last thing I want to talk about is that Lili’s c.MP applies GREAT pressure. When you do JUMP INs, make sure to poke a lot using c.MP. She can generally link c.MP two times and link into a dendrobrium. But the c.MP has good range and also psyches out some opponents because they do not expect that she can double poke c.MP.
Lili is so fast that she can confuse them. Knock them down and use her j.mk as a crossup to mix game up with them. In order to beat them you must get in and fully link 100% of your combos otherwise you will eat a MEAN punish. It’s kinda like, Gief and Hugo can’t handle the pressure if you’re too fast but they will crush you if you are too defensive. Jump in and attack full force without missing combos and you’re good to go. my advice is through my experience though you don’t have to take my word for it

-j.MK & f+MK stuff his foward offense option
With Zangief all you have to do is shut off his forward offense which consists of green hand, EX throw and his high kick.
Abel, Marduk and King are bigger problems because they can airthrow. So Lili has a hard time staying away.
I like Bison, but not with Lili. I’m thinking of switching to Nina, Balrog or Claw. Suggestions? Bison is really good tho. Maybe I’ll stick it out.

st.lk man…it hits low…it fucking hits low…what the fuck! It’s crazy when she is in because you are playing such crazy ass mind games with your opponents.
cr.hp forces stand so if you want to get max damage, 1 frame link to cr.hp xx angel knee is probably the way to go.
So from reading this thread it seems Lili is starting to show a lot of promising tech, but what exactly is making her such an awesome character…
Like most tekken characters, she has a lot of high low mixups, She’s really really tricky to fight against.
But is she the type of character to be locked down easy? As in no reversal game, so once she’s down it’s for good?
Her EX Reversal, reverses high mid and low moves. So when you’re down you can wake up EX reversal if you’re expecting an attack. Besides they added rolling in the game so you can get away. You can only roll forward. The thing you want to do is to bait out your opponent and have them try jumping in on you. Andante is the best anti air in the game and can be followed up afterward.

So her actual reversal move is what I want to go to, but she doesn’t have a normal reversal move that does low’s right?
Yeah her normal reversal only blocks high and mid attacks. EX reverses low in addition. She also has an air grab so make use of that.
Andante has invincibility frames against jumping attacks from frames 10-14. But in less technical terms. You will not be beat out or traded when you do andante on a jumping opponent, Even if they do a Jumping attack.
Does anyone else have anything else to add to the strategy section of the first post? Cause I’ve been playing Rolento/Lili on ranked for only one day, but I feel kinda lost as to what to do with Lili after I get my combo with her after Patriot circles.
One thing in particular I would like to know is what to do after a Dendbrobium. I’m kinda assuming that I could try to catch them pressing something and get them into another string, or go for high/low mixup.

Ah… This is some great tech to be learning! I’m feeling really hyped to start playing this team for a while too. Adanta won’t trade or be beaten even by a jumping attack… that’s so sick!

You’re -2 after Dendrobium. You are at a disadvantage. Backdash, attack counter,or poke are your only real options. And if they have a good poke, it’s going to hit before yours.
Dendrobium is safe if used at the end of a combo if the person is in the air. Like if they’re being juggled like off an angel knee.
