I play this game practically every day, and I HAVE been playing it since the official release here in Japan. Do I think it’s a good game? NO. It’s just a NEW game, something different to do… And no one ever said that Jedah was unbeatable. He’s just an annoying fuck that makes it so that people do not want to play the game right now. Inkblot’s thread pretty much sums up what I think of it. I’m a bit more accepting of the game, but the lack of options for some characters makes it a chore to play sometimes (case in point, Zangief vs. Jedah).
Is it possible for Zangief to zone Jedah with some well placed lariats? Getting hit with the last hit of the saw might be a fair trade-off for getting a hit in.
So… about that new girl, Ingrid. Anybody else thinks she has potential from what we’ve seen?
Heres a question, did everyone think that 3S was amazing when it first came out and would ever get as big as it is today?
How about CVS2?
Does anyone ever think any of the street fighter games will be as good as they are until its been out and everyone, EVERYONE has been able to play it?
After Jedah people will be calling someone new cheap, and so on and so forth! Look at CVS2 and how many different characters have been put into the “cheap broken” category over the years! It never ends!
I think the main thing is the most here are not impressed of what we have seen so far. I know Capcom fan boys think Capcom can’t do now wrong and with guys like Viscant preaching the gossple this game will be the second coming (oh wait that was MvC2).
After seeing the vidoes, reading the reviews of people that have been playing since the first beta test lets just face the fact the Capcom didn’t put too much into this effort. Inkblot has a very good post up about the game and he is a good source of info but in the end I’ll make my own decision on the game after I play myself. After all I have my own mind which alot of people don’t have here.
Viscant does make good points on this one and you should play it for yourself and then from a opinion. All I’m saying (which I think alot of people are thinking) is there could have been alot more to this game since Capcom haven’t made a new fighter in years. In the end though if the games does suck Capcom fans won’t admit it, it well be at EVO next year.

Ok so in CvsS2 you might have the teams that have a Blanka, Cammy, or Sagat on them, but there is usually some sort of variety and balance on most teams. We don’t see the EXACT same teams over and over most of the time, we see variety. And don’t forget the 2 or 3 grooves that are mostly used in CvsS2 do add a little variety. Now if only there wasn’t any Roll Cancelling or Sagat in CvsS2, the game would be a lot more fun.

Jedah is god tier only if you know how to use him right and most people dont.Dont see how that can ruin the game…I mean EVERY game has top tiers and so does CFJ but still a good game :karate:

Gief can zone Jedah with Hand and SPD. Jedahs know that one fuckup anywhere near sweep range = Goodbye 33%. If they don’t, they learn.

That’s just the problem: the losers complaining about Jedah were the ones stupid enough to pass up the Darkstalker series. This is their punishment. :lol: Attention, jobbers: Jedah ain’t broke, you just can’t touch him cuz you don’t know what he can do. Go play some VS and learn how to deal. This is just what you get for being selective about which of Capcom fighters you play. When Capcom throws all the characters into a mix, you get owned by stuff you should already know about. Bet if VS had Akuma in it, all of you’d know the Jedah’s tricks inside and out, and would be able to pwn him more than 75% of the time. Sono tamashi ware ni sasageyo!! :rock:
actually, I hate to say it, but if people wanna pickup jedah, they’ll halfta goto VS2… his cfe system seems to be more similar to that version.(comman decapitation, no chains in air combos).

I hate how Viscant has to make a post just so everybody can understand what’s going on. IRC, people. This stuff is so painfully obvious it hurts. The games been out for LESS THAN 1 month, most people haven’t even had a chance to play it, and people are STILL judging it. I don’t get it. 2 Peoples usually different or whacked out opinions aren’t going to shape mine about a game I haven’t played yet. Also notice that Gunter is a GIEF player.
