Is it possible for a Mugen game to be played seriously? Doujin games like Melty Blood and Akatsuki Blitzcampf started off similarly. We should get Spooky to stream matches when it goes gold.
Been watchin’ the guy’s card site for however many years it’s been up. I hope a demo does drop soon ‘cause it was feelin’ like this would never be released.
Honestly, I just hope that they can avoid the C&D. I used to think that the likes of at least Sega was cool with fan games, but they really showed their true colors with the SOR Remake deal. And I wouldn’t doubt that more parties would crack the whip on these guys too, if they got wind of it.
So, I would rather they just finish the game, and then release it. Then, even if they do get C&D’d, it’ll be too late because the game is already out there, and can then be found on multiple megaupload sites and etc. where Ninty, Square Enix, Namco, Capcom and etc. can do nothing about it.
Yes, MUGEN games can be taken seriously. This ridiculous notion that MUGEN anything can’t be taken seriously is actually annoying me. MUGEN is a game engine, and if people wanted to, they could turn it into whatever they want it to.
