This looks insanely and utterly broken…why can’t people make good stuff with the damn engine that isn’t “OOH FLASHY ^.^” and not lose the “OOH FUN AND DEEP GAMPLAY ^.^”?

…and select “Procedencia” you can see what they have done so far by series. Infact, all of you who have those SSBB sprites in your avatar are made by the same person, or at least they are working on it on the same team. If you notice, the spriting is similar.
All those characters probably wont be in the game, but you can count on more than 100.

Valkyrie Profile and Phoenix Wright series both in this? I hope those cards are accurate and they add in both… bet on it I’ll play playing Arngrim / Lenneth / Freya / Phoenix.
Actually, those sprites on the site aren’t characters. The only characters that are in their project right now, are the ones in the preview. Not saying it’s the final number, but don’t expect the 2,000 sprites from their site to literally represent the roster. It won’t even come close to that, right now.
Exactly right Shade. Though, just looking at all the characters makes me believe that whatever characters make it in the end, I won’t be disappointed.
Only thing I hope for is that the roster is dominated by characters already present in current fighters; Luckily, the trailer agrees with me.
Why would you want just that? I think the most interesting thing about this game is that it stands to have characters who otherwise would have no reason to be in a game of this sort, like Phoenix Wright.
I mean, you can easily find MUGEN-ized versions of characters from other fighting games, ready to DL at your own discretion. But again, games like Card Sagas and Serio’s CV game interest me most, just because a) they don’t seem to be rudimentary fighting games, and yet they’re very high-quality, plus b) it stands to possibly have a very unique assortment of characters.
Whoa, I should’ve doublechecked what I typed! I meant that it shouldn’t be dominated by characters from current fighters. I support Phoenix Wright among others misc. characters.

OMFG I want this game so bad!!! I’m looking forward to this more than some of the “hot” titles that are coming out (ala Street Fighter 4 and the like). New FUN GAMES > Games that have been around for like 20 years with no DRASTIC CHANGE IN GAME PLAY.
Wow, this thread got a bunch of responses since I checked last. 
When I have some time I’ll visit the site again, translate as much as possible (it’s in Spanish, and I speak Portuguese fairly well, so how hard could it be?), and update the OP. Stay tuned.

So there’s NO idea of a release date? Cause I believe that is game WILL attract a lot of people. Maybe even get a console release if the right people are exposed to this game.
