Captain America: The Winter Soldier thread

My father wouldn’t even let me HANDLE CDs until puberty after a near-traumatic experience he had when my then-toddler hands wrecked shop with a Commodore 64 disk and a disk drive, so what your son did was essentially some Trunks and Goten shit.

You should restrict your kid’s playing with an actual play area instead of the tv room.

You watched rugrats bro

Fuck that. Chain that kid up in the basement and let him fight with the rats for scraps of food.

Haha restrict a 3 year old the size of a 5 year old with the logic of a 6 year old…

Yeah that doesn’t work

And it didn’t work in Rugrats either. Tommy kept the screwdriver in his diaper like a shank in jail…JUST incase it popped off he was always ready.

I mean really the only thing I could have done differently would be to put the Kinect on top of the TV with a shelf or something, which I’m now thinking of doing in the basement with the One, and the wife doesn’t want to wall mount TVs (though I got a work around in the basement).

Yeah, no. Yo son was bound to fuck some shit up. We all did at that age. We either broke something or drew on the walls lol.

But seriously. What the fuck kinda smileys are these? The fuck is Mr Wizard playin at with these ole boujie lookin Social justice warrior havin im a white woman look at me I swear I’m fun lookin ass smileys?

I’d much rather him draw on a wall that WILL get painted over (we’ve been living here since Jan 1, still unpacking actually), than to destroy a $700+ TV, and ruin the $150 360 Kinect that we actually USE, especially after we just dropped 7 stacks on air condition.

  • :bluu:

I know.

Did you happen to ask him if he did it on purpose or on accident?

My grandparents caught me slippin and asked me that when I didn’t know what the fuck those words meant. Of course my dumbass said on purpose because I liked the sound p’s made lmfao.

I couldn’t sit down for a week without hiccuping lol.

He didn’t know he did it. He knew he did something wrong (playing with the Kinect), and he knew he hit the TV, but he didn’t put together that the TV went black because he hit it. And at his age, while he has great logic and reasoning skills, it was hard for me to not blow up on him for destroying the TV, because what he did that he KNEW was wrong, was much smaller in scale (though still a big deal, he’s f#cked up the thick ass kinect wire over the past few months, and now there is a hole in the insulation along with the multiple kinks).

Back to Captain Murica…I actually want more Falcon. He needs to pop up in an Avengers…

I’m just glad Anthony Mackie has been getting exposure from this. He’s been putting in work for a while now and it’s always nice to see your state represented (Loiusiana).

Shoulda gave em that AP treatment. Real shit. LOL (Dunno why AP couldn’t come to the same conclusion you did but I digress) Only thing I remember Anthony Mackie from is when he got murdered on that stage in 8 mile. SHOUTOUTS TO PAPA DOC

Keeping shit in reachable distance for your baby was bad especially since kids enjoy breaking stuff

I remember 8-Mile, then I remember hearing he died…then I was shocked to find out he didn’t heh.

The kid in the middle is 6, my son is on the far right…3 and some months. He’s tall as shit already, and climbs any and everything in his way all-terrain ass-ninja. Literally the ONLY thing that could hve been done different is putting the kinect over the TV. The 360 itself ‘was’ out of his reach, but between growth spurts and him using things to climb up higher…pssshhh, its not anymore. It’s really a fools errand at this point to keep ‘everything’ out his reach. Hell for the Skylanders I tried to put them out of his reach, I’m 6’6 and this thing is taller than me, and he STILL can grab 3-4 shelves up on this thing…and he tries to climb it to get further…

If Unreallystics son watched HXH instead of wack ass Nayudo that shit would have never happened.

Orange Jump suit ninjas…shit

actually Nathan has only scene two episodes of Naruto (Rock Lee vs Gaara), and maybe 10 episodes of HxH…though since it’s all subtitles he didn’t like it.

  • :bluu:

holy shit your kid is huge! I read an article about Anthony Mackie and about how he’s a real down-to-earth guy. He still works at the bar he co-owns back in his home town like everyday if he’s not doing the Hollywood thing.

I actually liked him in Pain & Gain. I know he was the third wheel behind Dwayne and Mark, but he got his (underrated movie).

With that said, I’d rather they do WS as Cap than Falcon…

  • :bluu:

I just rewatched the movie, and realized that Gary Senise was the voice behind the fictional Captain America exhibit at the Smithsonian.

You got caught in the skylanders trap. You have my condolences

Yeah, but its something my 3 year old can do, my wife will do with me, and I can do without putting in anytime. I don’t have the time or energy to be competitive at ANYTHING.

  • :bluu:

Hey, check the picture, top left is 90% of the DI1 figures and I already have all the new figures for 2.0 except for Drax, Fury, and Iron Fist. I sure as hell can’t judge…though I’m selling pretty much all of my DI1.0 stuff. If you want something I got the hook up.
