Grayson has the same agility spiderman does as a simple human…dude has been OP since his inception.
The one thing I’d like to see more of cap from the future is his authoritative/condescending attitude from the comics. Cap tends to talk down to people like they are 1st day recruits so I’d like to see him take that tone in future marvel movies.
Watched it this past Saturday and I simply loved it. Not because I’m biased and that Captain America is my favorite Avenger, however the storyline, character development and flow was simply great which never made feel bored.
In many ways and this is my opinion, I really felt this movie was better then The Avengers, for the only real big thing that movie had was the Star Power that was all jammed into one which made it so great, not to mention that icon shot where the Avengers huddle in a circle looking outward at the aliens…Epic.
After the terrible Iron Man 3 (imo) and the modest Thor 2 which I felt was better then 1, Winter Soldier was incredible & almost a breath of fresh air since The Avengers. I’m happy to see that Captain America looked more like a Super Soldier instead of looking or feeling just like a human being leveled character. Excellent portrayal and as always, his character and what he stands is what really stands out to me.
Lastly, the Captain America & Peggy reunion was bittersweet & I thought that was one of the best scenes in the movie.
Overall great flick, definitely worth all of the money I spent.
I think this one was a better ‘movie’ than Avengers - I’d def rate it higher. However, the boiling pot of Ironman punches & Hulk pwnage make Avengers more memorable IMO.
was allright but not the “best marvel movie”. didn’t like how they left winter soldier alive and probably gonna use him again in the next movie. can use less “twists”. 3D was whatever. there were like 2 moments that reminded me I am watching in 3D(shield and a bomb toss thats it)
Eventually Bucky ends up taking over for Steve to become Captain America himself, which seems to be where things are going as Sebastian Stan has signed on for 9 movies while Chris Evans only has 3 movies left on his contract which are A2/A3/Cap3
If both companies had any balls this wouldn’t have changed. It felt like true progression and development until a few years later when shit just went back to the predictabke status quo.
Man, I’m getting mad hype for a possible Civil War angle…probably after Avengers 3? Will be interesting to see Robert Downey Jr. playing the “villain” role, so to speak.
If they had the X-Men’s rights I wouldn’t put it past them to be able to make M-Day a possibility. Don’t think we’ll ever see that on the big screen though.
Without someone as respected and as big as Spider Man voluntarily revealing his identity I don’t think it works.
The MCU doesn’t have a big hero that hides behind a mask right now. Unless they have Scarlet Witch fuck with everyone’s memories of Tony Stark as Iron Man…
I could see them doing that actually…
In any case, unless they aren’t going to be able to implement that storyline any time soon. Not without building up more characters (movies, Netflix shows, tv series, etc) from the ground up.
Would be interesting if they did the Stark director of Shield thing though…
