I’ve heard as good as some people think the film is, the 3D effect really doesn’t make much difference.
You’re paying $3-$5 extra per ticket for a special effect that doesn’t work well most of the time. $8 is more than enough for movie tickets as far as I’m concerned.

Movie was seen and i marked out…Falcon hasn’t been discussed. I say they did a good job on it and yes great great endings scenes and action.

Yea I gotta say Falcon was really cool. In the trailers he looked kind of goofy, but in the actual movie dude was awesome. The way he moved in the air was just so fuckin cool.
While the 3D effect is integrated pretty seamlessly (no gimmick shots), it’s still worth seeing in the IMAX for the sound alone. It goes a long way.

Really the only complaint I have is irrelevant and is strictly comic book related, just wish Hawkeye was in the movie. Both because he is with Natasha and because he has pretty much always been Steve Rogers right hand man in the Avengers. Great movie though, no complaints, alternate story lines can be fine as long as they are done well and they do not fuck up the characters. [spoiler=]It is pretty obvious Bucky is going to go after Hydra with a vengeance. [/spoiler]
I was pretty impressed with the fight scenes and they really did a good job of showing the advantage Steve has on regular humans and I loved the SHIELD TECH. The action scenes really stepped it up and made a very entertaining movie. I liked it more than Avengers, pacing was really good and they kept you interested the whole way through.

Funny thing is the writers were floating around the idea of putting Hawkeye in but it would be a situation where Hawkeye would get shortchanged. Its one thing to have GSP as Batroc for 15 minutes which makes sense but you can’t short change a character like Hawkeye. He’s getting a huge role in Avengers 2 anyways.
Yup. Avengers 2 might establish Clint as that 2nd-in-command role.

I fucking lost it here lol. This movie was so good. Much better than the first imo. Fight scenes were wicked awesome. The action in general was just top-notch all the way. Black Widow is sick as always.
