In other words, no one on the Capcom roster can beat the dog. The only people on the Marvel roster that can beat Ammy is Shuma and Dormammu since they control dimensions, not stars.
How many of the Marvel roster isn’t Earth-based? Three (Morrigan is technically Earth-based)? Super Skrull is free so that doesn’t matter. So to beat the dog you need to own more than a planet, a star and a moon
Spiderman beats Logan hands down in my opinion. He’s faster and MUCH stronger. He could literally grab Wolverine’s arms and just hold him there. With the ability to lift 10 tons, you better bet he could rip the tendons in Wolveriene’s body apart, put him in a sleeper hold and… good night sweet prince.
He might find it really difficult to kill wolverine, but he sure as hell wouldn’t lose to him in a fight.
Well, throughout the DMC games he’s only been shown to be close to dieing twice, in DMC1. After DMC1 (DMC4 then DMC2) when he’s much older…not so much. lol
I guess younger Dante can die, but when he’s older…he trolls everyone without even using his strongest sword…
Doom is encased in metal. Magneto controls metal. He could simply crush Doom’s skull. Iron Man’s technology is akin to magic, being so advanced.
Not sure where you’re getting your Sentinel info from, but Sentinel is a dime a dozen robot that Phoenix Wright could destroy with a strong finger to the chest, exclaiming “Objection!”
She’s not the Sun personified. It’s her property. She was probably too busy forcing Akuma (also her property) to get into his old lady get-up to make cherry cakes every night to notice an insignificant buff guy walking on her Sun.
Magneto is really only powerful against other mutants, most other superheroes whoop him pretty hard with various ways.
The whole point of wolverine being higher in tier (imo) is solely because he can afford to take a hit and not die in most cases against other people, and in some cases (such as against the higher tiered human superheroes) him getting a single hit in is still enough to kill. Can’t really say the same for spidey, sure, his spider sense affords him a few chances, but the people we’re pitting him against aren’t vulture or scorpion; Dr Doom, Iron Man, Storm, and many others will eventually get that one hit that does spiderman in.
Although, one can blame spiderman ever getting hit on the plot just to make his adventures “perilous”…
Here’s what spidey was thinking during the fight… taken straight out of Amazing spider-man 534.
Everything’s numb below the waist. He’s hit me three times. I didn’t get him once. Elapsed time – ten seconds. The man knows more about hand-to-hand fighting than I’ll ever learn in a hundred years. Makes me feel like a chump. Fine. Use the anger. Make him fight MY way, not his. He’s studied me, that’s why he wants to fight close. He knows my every move, my ever skill and power.
I guess you could say Spidey lost heart due to getting tagged by Cap A three times while not landing a hit. But later after he finally managed to tag a hit he’s thinking
First blood. He’s surprised… and ticked. That’s how I can beat him. Not fighting him man-to-man-- but man-to-spider.
Magneto is powerful against all. And Magneto can use electromagnetism as well. Magneto can just BFR Hulk off Earth or manipulate the blood to calm him down. He has manipulated blood before and has BFRed people before. Magneto is no joke. Magneto can shortcircuit IM’s armor as well unless Tony is using a specific one. Doom has magic to help him against Magneto.
EDIT: From what I heard, from other comic readers Cap did say that. I didn’t read CW. Read the idea and said no. Just like I didn’t read much SI, or DR. The only books I read from full event was Second Coming which was good outside of Fraction.
Eh, if we also have to count intellect (not a bad choice, really), then MODOK should be much higher lol
But enough (from me) about spidey vs wolvie, its too affected by plot; normally he’s depicted to be around the equal of daredevil, wolverine, captain america etc…
Doom should be a little better than IM thanks to his magic; tech v tech usually goes to IM. Doom also has the power of supervillain monologue.
But meh, Doom’s rudimentary understanding of the black art is infantile. SO SAYS DORMAMMU
I think with a lot of this, you really need to theory fighter it. Don’t rely on what you’ve seen in a few panels of this or that comic.
I know that sounds ridiculous, but given how every writer handles things differently, you have to take a good approximation of the character, then fight that against the approximation of another.
Captain America is dumb and everybody jobs against him because Marvel can’t afford making him look bad. Same thing with Wolverine and a couple of other characters.
