Karin seems rough. Her cr. MK buffer is very hard to deal with.
Anyone have tips on how to deal with Bison’s dash? Its partial invincibility throws me off a lot since naturally I react to forward dashes by sticking out a poke and buffer into SA or DP. If I try to throw my poke too late, I’m going to get thrown or CC’d. Anyone figured out a visual cue on when to press a button to stuff it? Would cr.mp be better than cr.mk in this kind of situation?
Laura’s who put out a fireball and just cr.MK own my soul. I have no idea how to get in on this character.
Necali in Vtrigger is OD. Any advice on that part of the MU?
I think the Lauras I fought against were doing it wrong, but everytime they fireball post-knockdown I just dp’d right through it. It’s probably not legit though.
I’m very dissapointed in stMP crMP link not working on Ken and R.Mika. I thought that we would not have this kind of problems in this game…
Keep his ass out and bait that DP. When they start trying to frame trap you with stomps DP or CA that ass. Don’t forget about V-Reversal too. As soon as Necalli gets in he’s gonna ham until you make him respect your options on defense. Once he starts respecting you his game is gimped until V-Trigger, but at that point his health is probably low so wait for your opportunity to finish him off.
Also do your best to avoid his command grab, but at the end of the day it’s better to eat one of his grabs than to eat one of his huge combos.
Make sure you AA every jump in. I’ve yet to fight a Necalli that actually played footsies. Your buttons >>> his T-Rex arms for days, and that slash shit is unsafe as hell. His V-Skill is super telegraphed so just block it or arrow him if you’re close enough. You can blow it up on reaction from pretty far with V-Trigger too.
TL;DR : Keep his ass out and make him respect you.
How do you guys deal with Bison’s pressure? He’s giving me the hardest time.
V-Reversal works well vs Scissors. Honestly, I think he’s Cammy’s worst match. I think he’s most characters’ worst match.
Do you guys want it back to multiple threads or just one thread? I see people preferring both. I’ll change it to however you guys want it.
How do you deal with Birdie? All his buttons outrange Cammy’s and I just feel helpless in that matchup.
I jab him after every Scissor.
I wait till he ends his blockstring and then just do a jab to stop him, then gain some ground and keep him at a range I want him to be.
I personaly force him to attack me, unless I play extremly bad.
Birdie is slow, take advantage of his Habits. Learn the buttons he is using against you, fix a range and Whiffpunish the s*** out of this fat bastard. He has also no real answer for walkforward block and you can backdash is divegrabs for a free punish. Headbutts can all be punished with cr.mk xx Hk Arrow/DP and he has to respect your pressure once you’re in.
Need to understand this match a bit more.

Why the fuck is this 'Gief so jumpy? Is there anything in Cammy’s arsenal that makes him want to jump? I know in the last beta I was able to just poke out most Gief’s, but I don’t think I’m doing anything to make this dude so jump happy here.
So this game has been out for a
few days now. Obviously we are still kind of in the academic phase of this game, but I was curious to know right now who we think Cammy loses to/has trouble with.
Bison, Mika, Chun, Vega, Nash are her bad matches I think.
If there is a character that jumping in is a bad idea, I think that this character is Cammy.
But well placed crossups still can force you to block sometimes.
You must be joking.
Nash loses the neutral, you can react to his SB’s during the startup. He has no way to get in,you can punish allmost anything he does.
The last two Mikas I met… well I had 3 perfects in 4 rounds. She has no ways getting in either and not many ways to stop Cammy.
For Vega you need only st.hp to get in,once he’s knocked down he’s free.
Chun feels pretty even, Chun’s V-Trigger keeps it even to point it out.
Bison isn’t that dangerous either, zone him out and pressure him once he’s knocked down.
I can’t see bad MU’s, a lot feels either even or in her favour.
Hmmm, so are you playing more defensive vs Mika and Nash then?
I actually rush Mika down, if she doesn’t tech I zone her.
Fix the range, rush her down, if she doesn’t tech, throw her, reset the neutral, keep her at range, knock her down, attack her, repeat.
Same with Nash, I stay at a decent range against everyone, when they don’t tech and just bully them. There is a good range ~ cr.mk range were you should be able to react to most stuff.
Nashs allways try to get in,if you ignore the SB’s, I even punish them with V-Skill and Hooligan, just watch the startup and don’t try to react to the fireball once, he’s on the screen. It’s something I learned in the Poison MU in SFIV, watch the Startup of the fireball not the recovery.
For Gief, I literally just poke him to death with st.mk and cr.mk. Sometimes if he’s being very respectful I’ll just walk up and throw him or walk up and do some frame traps and if they don’t work go back to poking him. React to every jump with a DP and there’s not much (I think) he can do other than whiff punish you. You can have a lot of fun if you’re in a longer set and realise that the Gief players anti-air game isn’t strong and get some free offence going lol. My two cents anyway.
Dealing with a turtling Ryu and an offensive-heavy Ken seems to be my kryptonite right now. Had a Ken continuously run on me and go into cr Mk. I learned to just use St Mk to keep him out, but it seemed like a lot of his other buttons beat mine out. As for Turtling Ryus they frustrate me to no end. With no overheads and the fear of a DP if I apply too much pressure from a knockdown, I back off and try to bait it out. They never seem to bite unless I make the dumb mistake of jumping in. Any advice on dealing with these two would be much appreciated.
