I got hate for trying Cammy for a while, especially from noob Bison players that think full screen DR beats DP. Try playing Bison, even losses get you hatemail.

I’ve used Cammy since Super Turbo. Any hatred at Cammy towards me isn’t really AT me but people’s frustration playing AGAINST her now adays.

Yea, Cammy isn’t the hardest. Guile has a straightforward strategy but he isn’t top.

I agree with you actually i was only raging sorry. First Guile is really hard to play reason i said that he is easy was because didn’t try him i just think he looks easy when EIRIN plays him. And 19 win streak i know it’s nothing special but i got it on xbox live and i really like my main sometimes. i guess i overreact when i found out someone hates cammy
Hating a character is silly, just keep practicing and studying your opponent.
Agreed! Cammy’s pretty one-dimensional with her mixups. I think the issue is that they are easy to do in comparison to many other characters. It’s the Wesker syndrome I think.
Just being patient and blocking and teching correctly will beat all but the best Cammy’s.
I don’t like hating on a character as well and put a lot of training in the Cammy matchup, but I understand reasons of people complaining: You can’t just be patient, because there is one thing named “throw” which kinda ruins the “patience thing”. A good Cammy player will insert at random points throws or throw feints, and given how risky it is to tech throw against her, this is what makes her being “annoying”.
But on my side I can still mash a DP at random points 
I main her and personally I don’t think she that easy, overall the game roster is hard to master. If Cammy is one dimensional then that’s the player’s fault for not mixing up correctly. And I admit, that’s one of my flaws and I’m working on it.
- Most of the cast don’t need to space specials. Whilst Cammy does
- She’s one of the hardest characters in the game to pick up and play with
- Seth has the best normals in the game
- Cammy v Ryu + Deejay + Honda would make us all cry
- Random 180 damage into knockdown is bad
- 4 pages of “Cammy isn’t that good”
This is why the Cammy boards have “That” reputation.

What’s ur point from posting here. Really, what do you guys want? This is clearly not helping you in the gen cammy matchup. please ask at the gen forum for advise if you are having trouble fighting against cammy.

I agree. If it were for this thread, we might as well hate Zangief for his grabs, Seth for everything, Ibuki for being tricky… just silly, then don’t play.
I think patience encompasses watching and reacting to your opponent’s throw cues… If they walk forward, etc. you would generally expect a throw/frame trap. Then it’s a mixup, so guess time!
