uh Tron should be building whatever meter she uses for the most part, unless you’re trying to ToD a higher health character.
That’s what I figured when that was brought up. Cause Tron is always plus with meter with her combo’s normally

If I were to run a Tron/Zero/X shell, who would be a good candidate as the best anchor? So far Dante and Vergil seem like good choices. While drones are good, I don’t really like Sent as anchor, so I think I’ll pass on him.
Vergil is the better anchor (one of the best anchors in the game actually) but Dante is the better teammate for Tron. As far as close quarters assists go Jam Session is probably Tron’s favorite.
Jam session is great for Tron. If it hits defensively, you can convert into a combo with j.S, or if you haven’t used it yet, it’s one of the better assists for a double King Servbot ender (d.H + Jam Session, H-Beacon Bomb xx King Servbot, st.H xx King Servbot, st.H xx Drill).
Not only that, Million Dollars is one of the few hypers that can DHC cleanly into King Servbot, and you can do King Servbot to Devil Trigger DHC for corner unblockable or a strong defensive option.
Truth be told, Dante is just a great team player in general, but I think he works especially well for Tron.

Anyone know if Haggar’s lariat assist can be used to extend Tron combos (Clakey D Ender or otherwise?), or do they pop out from hit stun scaling? Also any other tips on his synergy with Tron, mix-ups etc.

Lariat is a soft-knockdown. it can be used to extend any combo.
as for synergy, one thing that comes to mind is that that he gets a free Backdrop off a hard tag beacon bomb, but that’s just w/e.
just w/e??? on certain characters you get a free guaranteed TOD with 3.5 bars on the incoming character, right where haggar & tron (and doom for that matter) want you. it’s a really strong setup imo. Also note that a 2 bar OTG->THC with Haggar + Tron in the corner gives you a free jab->hoodlum H reset on certain characters, or a bait into j.pipe on characters that think they can dash out of it, etc. There’s lots of synergy between the two… (ive been working on this team since vanilla k)

Or if you manage to land a Lunch Rush Hyper, you can immediately DHC to Gold Hsien-ko, Raw tag Tron back in while the servebots are stampeding and get in a standing heavy to a beacon bomb. And maybe you could raw tag haggar and get that air backdrop reset to death.
This team of mine isn’t too bad. I run Tron (β), Vergil (ɣ)/Sentinel (α), and Taskmaster (α). Basically I use Vergil’s Rapid Slash assist so it can hit my opponent right after I connect Tron’s d.H, then to a H.Beacon Beam. You can do about two King Kobuns and a Servbot Surprise. And Taskmaster’s Aim Master (Horizontal Shot) is used just like your usual assist character with a projectile.
So, "Tron May ;( " as it turns out is pretty good. Tron (Gustaff or Whatever you prefer)/ Vergil (Rapid Slash), and Dante (Weasel Shot) is a really good trio. Rapid Slash is great for combos and Weasel Shot is good for getting in and even extending combos. Oh yeah I was able to come up with a combo that did about 1,290,000 starting with one bar and ending with -0.20 meter gain lol. Ill record it when I get the chance.

That sounds like a good team. I tried using Rocket Raccoon in my team once replacing Vergil, it wasn’t bad. And with Amaterasu, you could use the Cold Star assist to put some pressure on your opponent while in the corner, what am I saying? You can do alot with the Cold Star assist.
