As it stands with respect to this law, women have all the power before, during, and after sex. It really has “liberated” them.

They’re all about “protecting” their daughter from these vicious young men that “only care about sex” but of course they express no concern for their daughter using sex to get what they want from men. You just said something important, though. These fathers think young men “only care about sex.” Despite being men, they perpetuate this dumb toxic masculinity against younger men. Men “only care about sex,” and it’s reinforced by douchebags who think sex is a SCORE, the creepy assholes who have co-opted the phrase “men’s rights” for their pathetic sexist tirades, and even dads who are just looking out for their kids. People say the same old shit like “boys will be boys,” which is pure bullshit. Boys don’t become aggressive bragging shitheads who “only care about sex” because it’s inherent, they do it because kids are impressionable and there are so few positive male role models, especially for black kids. It’s not a male vs. female thing, it’s that the culture at large frames everything according to their stupid little confirmation biases and perpetuates stereotypes of men needing to “man up” and women being weak-willed and innocent. Everyone needs to stop glorifying and treating sex as a commodity, for one. Sex is not something women “have,” it isn’t a weapon. A woman is only be able to “use” sex because the general population, male and female, keep on pushing and believing idiotic ideas that men are dumb and sex-crazed, and women are underhanded and deceitful. Men don’t put up with toxic masculinity bullshit purely because of feminists, but because of the apathy and ignorance of everyone, who don’t stop to think “Wow, maybe it ISN’T normal for men to be repressed, aggressive, and have a shorter lifespan!”
