Your PC won’t run KI? I think I’ll be putting more time into KI or Revelator (and Dark Souls…) than SFV as well to be honest. The system isn’t pulling me in like MKXL right now. Feels… I dunno… dry?
A main stream fighting game by Riot or maybe one day Blizzard is what it’s gonna take for FGs to reach the next level, so I’m pretty hype. Capcom won’t be the ones to do it.

fair enough, but if you factor in the cost of a stick (or converter) + cost of xbox live gold if you want to play online, you’re looking at probably $500 to play KI on the xbone
for not much more ($600-700?) you can get a pretty good mid-range PC rig that does a lot more for you

they did make sfxt better, but it took a year and by then it was way too late (and not quite enough change)
yea. Before I was letting the banana paralyze me but that v-skill has a ton of start up frames. I kind of try to bully Birdie at mid range now to get him to do stuff that I can punish. but if you get that out there you basically get a few seconds of just being able to walk forward and narrow the gap.
but man that j. mp is fucked. His hitbox changes so much. I lost 2 stupid rounds to some shitty Birdie cause I was like “Aw yeah jumped right at me fuck yo- oh WHAT” my c hp got stuffed, even WITHOUT the claw… and sweeping under isn’t foolproof because it’s also a cross up.
Birdie is really cool though. He really gives you that impression that you are fighting a giant overpowering, dirty-fighting brawler. Pretty neat how that translates through his gameplay. One bad button and you can eat the st. mp super combo.
Kinda feels like you’re shooting people with wet macaroni or playing laser tag… not sure I like that there’s no sense of impact. Not a fan of their Dreamworks art either. But some of the character gameplay designs are swell. Cowboy too OP.
Definitely won’t be paying 60 dollars for it on release though.
I get bored of it really quickly, maybe a game or two at most and i’m done with it. I won’t be buying it on release either unless they add or change a lot of shit.

I wish everybody lived out here, it’s entirely 1000%+ better than living in Calgary. It’s a shame it’s so expensive though, I don’t think anybody our age could ever afford to buy a house here with the boom that’s happening now that calgary n shit are all going downhill
