like andrew says, it’s actually pretty good for renters atm, lots of people lost their jobs and had to pack up ship leave town. my rent went down $200 per month – mind you, it’s a giant house. If you’re living downtown I doubt it’s changed much since boardwalk pretty much pwns the market share. If the real estate market nose dives even more It’ll be a excellent time to buy. Either way, I’ll just keep socking my coins and wait to buy somewhere nicer (ie: BC)
Rent is crazy cheap right now. If I tried to rent my full house, I’d lose a lot of money on it every month. places like mine used to rent for $2k plus, now $2,500 gets you an executive rental in the inner city. Condos haven’t dropped quite as much but it is easier to find a good one because vacancies are a lot higher, way more out there on the market to choose from.
As Claw, to body Birdie is fairly simple, it is just not fairly simple at this point without sufficient amount of battles with him. Mid range poke is really good and neutral jumping is key. When ever Birdie jumps at you with his chains (command throw) every version except for EX can be crush countered into huge damage.

mike, looks like Vega can punish spinning back knuckle on block with F+HP with combos into v-trigger etc.
and it looks like moonsault is only 3 active frames
so it’s not meaty, but probably just has a huge hurtbox. still, ever time i feel like a deer in headlights when that move starts coming out

edit: holy fuck, it’s true… no wonder dodging fireballs aside from shotos seemed so ridiculously hard, it’s cause i’m not even using my full moveset
EDIT: So Mike, when I do that big spin attack, I can actually choose to not attack and just spin, it has a lot less active frames but a notable animation and a voice clip included
I pretty much forgot about it. honestly thought it was just to help me fake people out when switching between claws
but no it has a TON OF INVINCIBILITY
figures… MAN, that makes moving through those slow fireballs soooo much easier
EDIT 2: Mike, if you hit a counter hit F+HP, you can combo into your tragedy assault after. you should start doing that, think about how good constantly stealing meter will be in the long run

Sounds like the last frames are completely projectile invul. I just wonder if you wouldn’t just back into it and make yourself block it meaty though.
I honestly don’t see any Vega players use those moves at all though. If I do get close I can just hit you low? I didn’t know that.
Edit: Yeah, there’s a lot of stuff I don’t do that I should really incorporate into my game. Worst thing is I need to practice V-trigger combos to know when to use which links because it’s very spacing and height dependent.
Also I need to practice cancelling m.sonic scythe into super. I can do light fairly consistently, but the timing on the medium one throws me off.
well doing the v-skill through the projectile isn’t too hard, with 20 more frames of invul it’d be cake
and yeah i could get hit out of that but at that range i can sort of make you scared to throw fireballs with my v-skill and ex roll etc
