Once you get hit by it you eat a pretty nasty mixup between frame trap or command throw so try not to get hit by it at all. You might be able to punish with neutral jump as soon as you see her crouch to charge the dropkick.
You get the charged version by holding down the hk button. And yeah all her specials are mad punishable on whiff/block so you either have to really confirm into them or make a good read in the case of a command throw.
idk who you’re playing josh but as gief i just armored through stand HK 100% of the time for a gross punish
i think it’ll be a totally useless button in certain matchups (ryu parry, gief armor, etc.) because she can’t cancel the charge

for mika? it’s either unsafe (-4) or on charge it’s very much safe (+2). I don’t know if theres a visual trigger or not that shows you but yeah… gief i assume can just vskill punish it on read?

you can press jab on reaction to mika’s drop kick with all characters. the starting animation is super obvious (she crouches down and gets ready to jump) and she can’t really make it a tricky mixup. and yeah, characters with armor (gief) or parry (ryu) can just do a button press and kill mika big time for it.
if you block it you have to eat a mixup though, yeah
fchamp’s dhalsim looks like a marvel character, very different from all the other sf5 characters except maybe chun

Mika is kinda fun to play but i feel like she’s not gonna be viable within like a month. Almost every single one of her buttons leaves her at negative frames on block other than jab. Her pokes are pretty terrible and im not sure if she has the speed to get in and mix people up. She has no real reversal. All her EX grabs have no invincibility and get stuffed and even her ex rush/butt can be meatied apparently since it doesn’t have armor frame 1. Best thing about her is probably her v-trigger which can catch people off guard when you mix it in with block strings but again, not sure how long that’s gonna last.
