its so sad because the goalies(both hiller and ramo) carried the flames through the first 1/3 of the season last year
a few games in particular i can think of (ramo in chicago and nashville) completely robbed a better team. this year they’re what they were supposed t obe all along

We should probably concentrate on getting an A ranked goalie for next year. It will be sad to see Hudler and Russell go but if we get a better than average goalie, it’ll be worth it. Unfortunately there’s not many goalies on the market right now except an aging, injury prone,fairly high priced Cam Ward. We might have to roll the dice with John Gilles.
In sfv news, interesting how Daigo is looking to change his image. He’s been active on Twitter and he is going to start streaming starting this Saturday.
hiller is bad, ramo is inconsistent, but wideman, russel, and smid are all pretty awful defensively too
and we lack secondary scoring. no one can really score other than the top line if Jones is out of the lineup.
Really, there are a lot of problems the team could address. you knew we couldn’t win it last year and with a few additions not much has changed.
hamilton and frolik seem good but we gotta get what we can for hudler, russel, stajan, etc. and get a good draft pick
