sfv PC doesn’t support d-input at launch, so ps4 sticks don’t work (you’ll need a 360 stick or something with x-input)
i wonder if the manufacturers and developers realize how much of a gong show this is, and why people are so salty having to buy new sticks all the time

Apparently in motion it’s difficult to notice the differences between PC and PS4. Higher end PCs are needed to avoid frame skipping.
What do you mean Ricky? The 360 sticks work perfectly fine on the beta (plug and play). Is this not the case for retail version?
360 sticks work fine, because they are x-input. so if you use a 360 stick, you’re good to go on the PC version.
but PS4 sticks don’t work with the PC version, without using an external wrapper program (which changes the input to x-input).
so yeah, that really expensive stick they tried to get you to buy for the PS4? the one that will be the future, for real this time? it doesn’t work on the PC version right now.
(there is a rumor that capcom will patch in PS4 stick support a few months from now, but nothing concrete and it’s incredibly insulting that it’s not there at launch)
by the way, KI on PC will have this problem too. the xbox one sticks don’t work properly on windows 10 because there is some problem with the driver so that it doesn’t recognize the LT/RT buttons
if you use a 360 stick you’ll be fine for KI on PC, but again, the actual new device they wanted to sell you on as the future doesn’t even work properly. and this one can’t be fixed by a wrapper program, you need to open up the stick and rewire the trigger buttons
MS has said they’re going to patch the windows 10 xbox controller driver to fix the LT/RT issue by the time KI launches but they’ve been oddly silent for months on it now, so we have no idea if they actually will
