if you block like one or two normals you’re out of range for a lot of stuff and don’t need to be overly scared, this won’t be sf4 where you desperately need to escape everything

I miss King’s giant swing in SFxT… It was pretty nice using that option select with it and grabbing back dashes with a half screen command grab. I wish Mika’s worked that way…

cooooool, a bunch of new, wacky maps coming to rocket league in february! there’s one with two goals (basically a very wide, angled goal), a circular map with one goal and you score on different sides of the circle, and one with two tiers and a very tall ceiling. some pretty awesome diversity. they come with a training room-style aesthetic at first and we get to test them in unranked play, then they will apply final art assets to maps that the community tests and likes and release them in the official game later

Weird… each weapon has an ‘arte’ when two handed that consumes mana… dagger gives a quick dash instead of a roll etc. Wonder what they’ll do with all the other weapon types

Oh man, I am not going to watch that video. I haven’t watched any Dark Souls 3 footage WHATSOEVER aside from the first trailer. Going into this game completely blind. So stoked.
You know, I liked Bloodborne, but I did not love it. I loved Dark Souls 1 and 2. I feel like Bloodborne’s areas were more repetitive, and the difficulty was inconsistent. For instance, Vanilla Bloodborne is super easy. Meanwhile, the expansion is SUUUUUPER hard. And a lot of the bosses were bitches. Ludwig was the only one that felt like a true Souls boss. That was definitely the highlight of the game for me.
The chalice dungeons were hard too, but repetitive. All I have to do to platinum the game is get the “accept” ending from the final decision, and kill those two goddamn motherfucking piece of shit shark demon asshole mother fuckers and get the weapon they are hiding in the expansion. You know, the room with one anchor wielding mother fucker and his bro hanging out on the ceiling? FUCK those guys
So many times in Bloodborne I would die because an enemy would push me up against a wall and then the camera would just go GG. Feel like that didn’t happen nearly as often in Dark Souls.
Plus, in Dark Souls 2, you get three weapons in each hand. Way better. There were so many weapons, too, that your character always felt like your own.
And I like the “medieval” style more than the “gothic” one. But that’s just personal preference.
Bloodborne had an airtight story and is definitely the most gorgeous game I’ve ever played, and probably most polished game ever, but I feel like Dark Souls’ strengths in gameplay overshadow Bloodborne’s achievements in presentation.
edit: I also liked the tension / jump scares in Bloodborne. Always had you on your toes when exploring a new area.
tl;dr I can’t wait for DS3
