When you plug it in, does the controller (DS4) still connect to the same account? Can you stick a headset, like the one that came with the PS4, and chat with that while playing with the RAP 4?
Also, does it seem a whole lot bigger than the mad catz? It seems to be longer.
It can sync to a new account, just like a second wireless PS4 controller. There’s no headset/phone jack on the stick though. So you’d have to use a USB headset (which is what I use anyway).
Definitely a bit longer than the TEs. For comparison it’s about an inch shorter than the Madcatz SFxT VS model.
It has a touchpad which is neato… My first ps4 stick didn’t. And some buttons can be remapped and disabled (the options/pause button most notably)

Sorry to keep this going. I don’t have a USB headset and like ear buds. Is it possible to sync the controller to the same account so I can chat through the controller with my friends on that account. In other words can I control the account with both the fightstick and the DS4 like when I plug in a legacy device for MKX? Or does the DS4 automatically go to a second account? Or do I have a choice?

It doesn’t seem possible to sync them to the same account… You can plug in the headphones to the player 2 ds4 controller and have all sound output to there, but the microphone won’t work when you’re back on the account linked to the stick. So the output works but not the input of sound :(.

it’s interesting to me that he uses phrases like “characters walk like they’re encased in cement” and when he talks about a character’s mixup game, he calls it “semi-credible, which by sfv standards is amazing.” but mostly it was interesting to me because i didn’t follow all the frame data people mined from the different betas, so i didn’t really know how the characters changed or how they ended up, so this helped with that.
