(or play sf4 instead which is what i did.)

2008 was like… primo music games, between rock band, all those rpgs and the best wow expansion released i was busy as a mofo with vidya games galore.

i actually didnt play any of those games in 2008. except MGS4. okami was for ps2 at the time which i didnt own. i played it when it came out for wii and loved it.
yup 2008 i just played SSBB and sobbed all year.

The new Twisted Metal was my biggest disappointment in recent memory
it wasnt the graphics that i was disappointed with on zelda ww. i think id just been hyping the game up myself so much reading previews and the like that i was kind of underwhelmed with it when i finally did get to play it. then the triforce quest at the end was the final straw. in fact now that i think about it i think i only played through it once as opposed to every other zelda game which i have finished multiple times.
after that i basically had to restrain myself from reading stuff about the games i really wanted so i wouldnt end up disappointed.
another big disappointment was Deus Ex : invisible war
like holy shit that game was so bad, and to carry the deus ex name too was just… god i wanted to love that game so bad but it was just impossible. luckily number 3 was much better. 1st is still da bess though.
my biggest gaming disappointment is USFIV
they’ve just committed to at least 2 more years of the SF4 series with this update.
assuming they start production on SF5 next year in 2015, we wont be seeing SF5 until at least 2017. good game capcom. most of us will have more important priorities than playing SF5. theyre not doing enough to bring in a younger generation of Fighting Gamers. Capcom needs to get off their nostalgic asses and start making some new shit to attract the new generation. get on that Call of Duty formula Capcom!!! i wouldnt mind a new SF every 2 years.
from a business perspective, at least its a financially sustainable business model.
