C.Viper changes/alterations

How about fixing the autopilot on ultra. I get bummed out when I miss a juggle and go all the way up into the air while my opponent has all that time to figure out what move/combo/finisher to hit me with when I land.

All I think she needs it

: to be a little easier to control, in order to encourage people to play her.
: something new and not too powerful so she has another tool to work with, and because it’s a new game.

Oh, I thought of something I’d like them to add.

Viper’s moves need more lens flare. Like, tons more. And an alt costume with a racing stripe.

change burning kick to qcf cause sometimes i get sj up instead of uf when doing her instant burning kick. if it was qcf it would be easier and most of the time i would rather use uf. nothing big.

This. Viper should be generating hype as soon as she gets picked on the character selection screen. She definitely could use moar flash.

It might just be the SNK fan in me speaking, but honestly I think jump canceling is flipping lame. There is no reason they couldn’t have just made it so you can go Seismo -> same list of stuff you can jump cancel into anyway.

Execution my man,if not the game devolves into the mash fest Brawl is.

A frame analyzer in pratice to help newer people get into some of vipers higher level play would be nice.

Or a slowmo on replay(dont remember if this is in already).

Viper isn’t that difficult to play on a basic level if you’ve been playing fighting games for a long time. Like if you’ve played Guilty Gear competitively in a tournament like EVER (like 2 times) you should be able to figure out C.Viper’s execution rather easily. C.Viper WAS designed for veteran fighting gamers. She’s a character that’s rather high in execution but is rewarded with higher damage output and the ability to basically disregard other character’s footsies which is a concept I love. I can play a game with a big emphasis on ground space and still choose a character that’s main concept is to spin and fly around everyone else’s footsies. Then she dies to easy reversals, 3 frame jabs and lariats. :lol:

Not only can she be thrown out of fierce bk, but it gets stuffed by low normals like Ryu’s c.mk. So tired of that shit.

The invincibility frames on ex seismo could def use some buffing IMO. Its supposed to help make up for the fact that she has no footsies and the slowest normals in the game, so why does it sometimes get stuffed by these same normals people just throw out? Especially seeing as how its her best (only) wakeup option…

Yea i can feel this,a little tired of d.jab x2 breaking a siesmo considering boxer only has a jab button when he’s close.

I actually landed this last week in a offline play casual match. I was trying to feint a knuckle, and got ex instead (cause I suck), and it actually grazed the opponent in mid-air. They were slowly falling right at me from behind, so I did the ultra motion, and nailed the full thing.

It looked cool, though completely unintentional.

Would making the recovery of an empty superjump equal to that of an empty normal jump be too broken?

^ Yes, although I will say she needs the same amount of trip guard recovery as an aerial normal such as RH and or aerial BK. Empty SJ’s are so useless.

I just want them to fix her character model, seriously, it looks like she’s wearing a diaper.

An alternate costume that looks like Captain Commando’s…
