(I’m actually kinda worried about Strider. Not because I think he’ll be hideously bad. It’s more just because I’m not sure Ouroborus will end up being worth it, even with Level 3 X-Factor.)
Oh, yeah, I forgot about Dormammu even though I play him. Heh. He’s another character who really didn’t need the buffs he got for the most part. However, I don’t see him being “broken”, if only because he doesn’t build that much meter & is thus still dependent on it and Air X-Factor gets rid of his almost Dark Phoenix-esque Level 3 X-Factor if he had two or more bars.
He’ll still be damn good though.
Yes, but only if the person is stupid enough to not Advancing Guard the shit out of Hailstorm, which they literally have no reason not to, so no unless, again, they’re stupid. You could, however, perhaps, Air X-Factor her and then switch out and attempt some ghetto Round Harvest-switch-out mix-up, but considering how Trish only got buffs she didn’t need and how much Hailstorm chips anyway…yeah. It doesn’t seem like it will end up worth it.
Pretty much guaranteed to happen at least once between her already being decent, getting only buffs (sans the Toy Touch thing) and already having at least a couple of more than decent users. I’d probably play her myself if she wasn’t so sweet that she threatened to give me diabetes. She’s only decent Darkstalkers character in this game after all. (Sigh. B. B. Hood. Anakaris. Ruby Heart. None of you could have replaced Hsien-ko if they were going to just waste her potential?)
Phoenix wright is the most interesting one to me. He’s certainly going to be broken, but there’s no way to tell yet if he’ll be broken-good or broken-bad.
No smart player is going to teleport without an assist covering it, which is why they’re so problematic. I see Dante still being better than Vergil due to what Dante’s overall utility and chemistry he adds to just about any team. Vergil will be good, but I see more potential in Strider. Strider will be tearing up armor and shutting down the field when he has meter just like in the old days.
Strider is going to be a problem for anyone the simple Fact that he has a Teleporting Tracking kick that ground bounces is in and of its self full of retard.
Day 0 for Vanilla tier lists put Magneto at high B tier because “He didn’t have anything the better rushdown characters ( like ammy, storm, akuma and sentinel ) couldn’t do better.”

and we saw how that turned out. before the game even came out there were magneto player(s) (f-champ) kiling people with nothing but L disruptor.
actually it was the gamespot tourney iirc… the one where royal flushes modok was tearing up marns zero and dante with dat keepaway.
His teleports aren’t as obvious either considering he makes no sound when he teleports and he’s quite small, however he always teleports in an air position so you pretty much can expect high attacks all the time, and I don’t remember if he could follow up after heavy vajra but that awaits to see.
Unfortunately bust I think is still Hsien-Ko and Haggar I wish for a game where nobody is “bust” but the realities of the situation clearly. What happened to Tron? did she just disappear into obscurity after her Fire was nerfed?
K. This isn’t MvC2. “Hulking armor characters” are actually really strong, and slept on in this game. People think Dante vs Hulk is free for Dante, when it is more 60-40 Dante’s favor. Especially with Doom missiles assist.

MvC3 Sentinel is strong. Nostalgia kills people, by the way. Maybe some day, people will stop trying to make this game MvC2 (not saying that is what you are doing, by the way).
MvC3 Sentinel has a few very difficult match ups. Wanting access to a character that’s really not in Marvel 3 is nothing new however. I want Marvel 2 Dhalsim in the game too. D:
