She still sounds better than Tron…but I guess that’s not saying much. People say her bonne strike assist could be a decent replacement even though it’s not invincible.
To me her point changes sound more like rearranges than totally killing her on point. The only thing they really did was nerf the way she lands combos a bit but everything else is basically slight buffs. The biggest nerf was obviously whatever she was best for any way which is the fire assist.

They nerfed the j.H, but they also nerfed Beacon Bomb to where it can’t be used mid-combo. That absolutely destroys most of her comboability. They had made Bandit Boulder special cancelable, but they removed that buff. So basically, you’re left with Vanilla Tron without the assist, the j.H, or her comboability, and with safe drills and more servbots, but in a game with more hitstun scaling, zoning buffs, less meter gain, and nerfed airdashes. Worst in the game.
I think you still have to fight with Hsien Ko and Haggar for that. We’ll see.
I know the bandit boulder buff was in the NeoGAF changes so I guess stuff must have changed since then. I’ll watch for the official Capcom changes and see if anything new comes up.
ill laugh so hard if haggar ends up being b tier at least…all they need to do is add one way to get in for him…

Unless the character has some invincible move that will blow though his shit I think he’ll do fine against most rush types. I think more so his issue is that he’ll have trouble against other lame out characters that are more projectile based. Which is probably why his hellfire special absorbs projectiles.
One team I really want to try is Zero/Dante/Doom in that order. Most of the godtier assists got nerfed in one way or another, and that makes Doom that much more valuable on a team. His assists are godlike, and he makes a godlike anchor. Zero/Dante is Zero/Dante of course.
But what about Storms Whirlwind? In Vanilla, it beats nearly all normal projectiles but I’m not sure how good it is in Ultimate because the move, or should I say Storm, isnt used a lot.
And Stranges Lvl.1 super seems really good. Rivals Hail Storm for best DHC imo.
I can already that chris and doom are really going to piss me off.
Actually I am not sure why people are writing off Haggar, from the Ultimate Norcal vs Capcom stream it seems Haggar actually is buffed more than he’s nerfed, Curtie Pie was murdering everyone with his Haggar.

You can’t write off Haggar simply on the fact that his assist will still control the game.

I did some serious thinking about Doom and I think he’s getting overrated ATM.
He’s the only member of Marvel’s 8-way dashers who isn’t getting a huge changelog, and he’s losing the ability to throw some limbs and then tridash cancel backward to make it safe, since that tridash is, in fact, no longer safe.
I still think he’ll be good – I’m thinking ‘all range’ characters like Doom and Magnus have a huge chance to shine in this meta – but I don’t think he’s Instant S Tier, simply because he no longer has the safety he used to.
I’m a little lost on the Trish hype. What exactly has she gained? Or is it more that other people lost a lot of things while she remained the same.
She gained OTG Maximum Voltage and air x-factor, while most of the top tier in vanilla, some of which she had some good matchups against (Wolvie and Wesker for example), were nerfed.
I wanna bet on Strider or Vergil. Something about swords…
