Honestly it’s not even the charge time of Hulk’s gamma wave that is problem,it’s the fact that Hulk can be hit out of the move. Which IMO is kind of stupid because it’s a charge move, and you should be awarded for those seconds of doing it . The startup was faster/ or had super armor on frame 1, gamma wave would been a crazy good projectile.
It beats just about anything, and it has better recovery than Storm’s whirlwind.

I actually am really excited for Frank (He is my most anticipated new character next to Rocket), I originally wanted him in vanilla Marvel 3, I played his games, and I played Viewtiful Joe / Frank in Tatsunoko when he was added in Ultimate All-Stars.
If the opponent is letting you churn out charge motion projectiles then they are all sorts of fucking retarded. Gamma wave is bad, and will always be bad just cause the type of game marvel is.
Gotta love them bandwagoners. I remember Jean being one of the most universally disliked Marvel characters due to being bland and overexposed, then suddenly everybody has always loved Jean and she was always their favorite character and they are totally only using her because they’re fans. Yes sir.

It’s mainly my projected assumption based on the types of characters that will control the game and what assists could really make them nasty. There’s some characters coming into the game and previous ones where meter assist is really going to control things. Especially now that the game is no longer press buttons, turn on 2 supers or XF, kill character. That assist is going to be no worse than A tier for some teams in Ultimate and I won’t be surprised at all if that assist starts controlling the game now that there’s less easy mode kill shit and a game more centric on zoning.
I dunno what tier you wanna put Morrigan on point so you gotta let me know that. I’m sure it’s not higher than B.
Vergil’s sword hyper plus tracking teleport looks like an instant crossup from literally anywhere on the screen. I’m sure that Capcom wouldn’t put something in that is that blatantly busted, but after Phoenix, I don’t know.
