Somebody’s eyes were bigger than their stomach. You just don’t leave appendages. Parents must’ve taught them poor dining habits. #Ajaba

Couple face 15 years in jail for having sex on the beach (not the delicious alcoholic beverage)
The two are facing prison time and must register as sex offenders after being filmed on Bradenton Beach.
Couple found guilty of having sex on a Florida beach, faces up to 15 years in prison
It’s been dubbed the “sex-on-the-beach” trial.
A Florida jury on Monday convicted Jose Caballero, 40, and Elissa Alvarez, 20, on charges that they had sex on Bradenton Beach in broad daylight. They face up to 15 years behind bars and will have to register as sex offenders.
Each of them faced two charges of lewd and lascivious behavior, carrying a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison, the Bradenton Herald reported.
Defense attorney Ronald Kurpiers told the newspaper that Caballero and Alvarez were “devastated” by the jury’s decision.
Prosecutors — including the elected 12th Circuit State Attorney Ed Brodsky — sought a conviction in the high-profile trial to make it clear that such behavior is not acceptable on the community’s public beaches.
“We’re dealing with basically tourists, that came from Brandon and Riverview and West Virginia, and they’re here on the beaches of Manatee County, our public beaches,” Assistant State Attorney Anthony Dafonseca said, according to the Herald. “So you want to make sure that this isn’t something that just goes by the wayside. And that it is well known to the community, what will be tolerated and what won’t be.”
Florida… Where shooting and killing unarmed people results in no jail time, but sex on the beach can lead to 15 years in prison.
Reminds me of another case in Florida where this guy was peeing behind a giant garbage bin at 1 AM and a neighbor called the cops on him, and he had to register as a sex offender because he was within 1000 feet of a school… at 1 AM.
Kayla Mendoza's blood alcohol content was nearly twice the legal level at the time of the accident
A woman who killed 2 other women in a drunken car accident after tweeting “2 drunk 2 care” back in 2013, is sentenced to 24 years in prison.
On Nov. 16, 2013, Kayla Mendoza was driving the wrong way down the Sawgrass Expressway in Coral Springs, Florida, at between 84 and 96 miles per hour, CBS News reports. The then-20-year-old’s blood alcohol content was almost twice the legal limit, and she also had marijuana in her system, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
She collided with another car, an accident that cost Marisa Catronio and Kaitlyn Ferrante, both 21, their lives. Mendoza had, hours earlier, Tweeted “2 drunk 2 care,” which she later said was directed at her boyfriend. The pair had reportedly been fighting on the evening in question.
On Monday, Mendoza was sentenced to 24 years in prison, six years of probation, and the permanent revocation of her license, according to CBS News. In February, she pleaded guilty to two counts of DUI manslaughter.
In a video deposition, Mendoza said she has no recollection of driving that night, or of the crash. She did remember going out for drinks with coworkers, and a receipt shows that she drank two large house margaritas and two other drinks of Patron tequila. The receipt does not show a food order, according to CBS.
“Drinking and driving is not an accident,” Ferrante’s sister Ashley said at the sentencing. “No one accidentally does it. It’s a reckless and careless mistake.”
“…”
The man too strong for the Florida thread is in the news again over another road rage incident:
LAKE MARY, Fla. — George Zimmerman — the man acquitted by a Florida jury over the death of Trayvon Martin — was involved in a shooting in Lake Mary, Florida, on Monday, police spokeswoman Bianca Gillett said.
Zimmerman suffered a minor gunshot, WESH-TV reported, citing the police chief.
“He walked normally into the ambulance, so he wasn’t being helped or nothing,” witness Ricardo Berrare told WESH-TV. “They actually backed up the ambulance next to his driver side so he could walk into the door.”
The shooting is under investigation, but it appeared to be some type of road rage incident, Gillett told CNN.
I was just about to post the zimmerman incident. What a stable, law-abiding citizen. Surely his post-trial actions doesn’t show a man with serious psychological issues, who might be considered a danger to others, a ticking time bomb.
Although it sucks that he didn’t die, I’d prefer a slower, more agonizing death. I hope he pisses off the son of a cartel boss or someone similar in the near future.
The man is too stupid to die.
That’s why he stays in Florida.
Zimmerman himself getting shot isn’t surprising, this is Florida after all, it was only a matter of time before someone else stood his ground against him.

This is why you keep him in Florida, where this is called “normal”.

He got shot AT. The injuries were from flying glass. I’d love to send his ass to Detroit. That’ll fix THAT.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office arrested and charged landscaper Jason Falbo with nine counts of animal cruelty.
Ya he looks like he wouldn’t care to stop for anything but a hooker on the road.
The couple is struggling to explain to 7-year-old Kai what he witnessed, Jentzsch told the Sun Sentinel. “He asked me,” Jentzch said, “‘Is everybody out there like this?’”
The answer is “We are in Florida. So yes.”
I was thinking maybe he was driving quickly or something, but no he’s a fucking sociopath.
I was a SFL resident for 10 years…despite all of the fuckery I love every mini of staying here. I would move back if my job wasnt treating me good
P.S during HS people were fucking in the dugout so I’m not surprised that people are fucking in the beach lol

Florida Guy Tries Cashing $360 BILLION Check!
Jeff Waters walked into a Bank of America and attempted to cash a check for $368,000,000,000 dollars. The incident occurred in Jacksonville – (Raise your hand if you are surprised at all to hear that our story takes place in Florida… No one? And moving on… The check was from U.S. Bank of Idaho and was issued in the 1990s! But wait, it gets better…Waters wanted the $368 billion for a very SPECIFIC reason though…
“It’s always been my dream to own the best Italian restaurant in the earth,” Waters explained. “I’m ten percent Italian. Cooking authentic Italian food is in my blood. I had planned to make the restaurant 80 million sq. feet and able to accommodate 30 million eaters at once, plus it was gonna be totally underwater so people could look at sharks while they ate. But the bank wouldn’t give me my money they owed me. Tito said the check was good for any amount I wanted to write it for. So blame Tito, not me. I’m as innocent as a schoolgirl.”
WHAT… THE…. ACTUAL… F-CK!?!?
Okay first of all Tito is a genius: he sold Waters a 1990s blank check for $100!
Secondly, you know his restaurant sounds badass! Who wouldn’t want to eat at a restaurant the size of a small country submerged underwater!? And speaking of sharks — maybe somebody should get this guy on Shark Tank!
Finally… “innocent as a schoolgirl?” Can we just leave the schoolgirls out of this mess man – now you’re just creeping us out.
So obviously this guy was ARRESTED and charged with forgery – but the best part – Waters was charged with unlawfully carrying Chinese throwing stars and possessing bath salts (Of course he f-cking was).
Yeah…we got a lot of crazy white people down here. They come here cuz they like the weather and low cost of living.
Just another day in Florida.

State Discovers At Least 65 Bodies Buried Beside I-95 In South Florida
BROWARD COUNTY – The state has discovered at least 65 bodies buried beside Interstate 95 near Sunrise Boulevard, and officials say it’s possible some unmarked graves were paved over when the highway was originally built and later widened, our partners at the Sun Sentinel reports.
The graves are in a potter’s field that was part of the five-acre Woodlawn Cemetery, established in the 1920s because blacks during segregation were not allowed to bury their loved ones in the main cemeteries.
The state now owns some of that land, which it uses as a right-of-way for the highway. Only a chain-link fence separates the neglected, decaying markers from the road.
Officials are trying to pinpoint the location of the graves to prevent further harm to them as they consider future improvements to I-95.
They say they know several veterans from both world wars are buried at the site but they don’t know the names of all those buried, or even the exact number. That’s because nearby residents told them bodies were sometimes laid on top of other bodies in that section of the cemetery.
Crews in April used dogs twice to search the property for graves before returning with ground-penetrating radar.
“We didn’t know what was under the surface. We wanted to be able to find out what was under the ground without disturbing it,” said Ken Hardin, a consultant who specializes in archaeology.
Officials say they can’t know for sure that bodies aren’t buried under I-95 without impacting traffic to do surveys or digging up the highway.
While trying to determine their next steps, officials are working with residents to protect the area and possibly honor its historic significance.
“We need to ensure that there is some memorialization of what is there, a historic site that means a lot to a lot of people,” said Broward County Commissioner Dale Holness, whose district includes the cemetery.
“This community’s sentiment is that they don’t want that site to be further disturbed â at all. If there can be restoration done, that restoration (can) be done,” Holness said.
I-95 was built through Fort Lauderdale in the 1970s. The state’s right-of-way south of Sunrise Boulevard runs about 7 feet inside the fence, into the western part of the cemetery where poor or unknown individuals were laid to rest.
The state purchased it from Woodlawn in 1967 and it encompasses the area where the northbound lanes of I-95 pass today. About 300,000 vehicles travel this section of I-95 daily, making it one of the busiest stretches in Florida.
Dealing with cemeteries is not new for the state.
In the late 1980s, the Florida Department of Transportation took graveyard property at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Davie when Interstate 595 was originally built. In that case, the state paid to relocate the graves farther into the cemetery.
But determining who is buried at Woodlawn’s potter’s field section is a daunting challenge. Records for the cemetery were lost in a fire years ago.
Five of the graves on state property have markers with legible names, one has a partial name and five have illegible markers. The burial date on all the legible markers is 1980.
The rest of Woodlawn Cemetery was poorly maintained until the city of Fort Lauderdale acquired it in the 1990s. The years of neglect can be seen on the decaying, broken headstones where many etched names are unreadable. Burials are no longer permitted at the site.
The cemetery is eligible for listing with the National Register of Historic Places. Such a designation, officials say, would make it difficult for the state to encroach on it for future expansions of I-95.
Some residents say the state should formally apologize for building I-95 through the potter’s field in the first place.
“Someone has to take responsibility for the wrongdoing,” said Edna Elijah, president of the Lauderdale Manors neighborhood association on the city’s northwest side. “They knew this was a gravesite.”
The florida approach to retirement.
