Having an issue with the .exe update file for 360 to PS4. When I get the converter to update mode and start the update process the converter disconnects midway through.
I was having a similar problem with the white ps3->ps4 converter when trying to add the TE firmware except after the update would successfully install id preform the button combination again to take it out of update move but it would go from a blinking purple light back to a solid and the program would say its ready to upgrade. the only way i could get it out of update mode was to start up the base firmware update and only when that one finished updating i would do the button combination and the ligt would turn from purple to blue.

Like your words…
When that one finished updating i would do the button combination and the light would turn from purple to blue.
>> it works in exiting mode when LED turn from purple to blue. please remove it from USB port.
I went and updated the drivers, but whenever I try to input the button combination to exit out of the update mode, the update starts again and the converter still continues to be purple instead of blue. I have the lime green xbox 360 to ps4 converter. Any tips?
EDIT: Never mind I managed to get it to light blue, but whenever I try to update the B file, it says update failed. In the RAR for the latest update it only came with the A file. Is that the only file we need?
Hello, I’m unable to exit update mode on the ZPPN004-A_V16_20160408 firmware. I was able to get into update mode but now that I’ve managed to do so, it doesn’t seem to be reading my inputs anymore.
I’d like to try flashing the stock firmware and doing it over again, but I can’t find instructions on that (even more so since I’m stuck in update mode).
Had the same problem on the 3.15 firmware. It’s very easy to fix. 3.20 flashed the first time instantly.
You need to do this button combination:
To start flashing:
Home+Start (LED turns red).
Hold L3 or fightstick joystick direction (release start and home first).
Continue to hold joystick direction and press home while holding. Then release (device turns purple).
Hit update on the flasher, device will flash purple when finished.
Then you do the same combination again.
That gets you out of update mode.
I think the problem you have happens when you put it in update mode and THEN you put it in “option mode” while it’s still in update mode. Option mode is also Home+Start. usually you can exit option mode right away, but if you put it in option mode without releasing update mode, it just tries to flash again.
