okay i got through the update page for the A file by mashing the buttons again lol. do i need to do the B file also? when i click the B update file i get stuck at the page asking me to insert the converter even though ive plugged it in. i have a 360 to ps4 converter and i need to get an arcade stick working

if your stick works fine with converter, you don;t update B patch…

it worked when i first tested it until the 8 min time out. after the update it now doesn’t recognize the converter at all. what would you recommend? is there a way to do the update again without a L3 button? thank you

I don’t know if this helps or anything. I am using a HORI VX-SA dual modded with a chimp smd and I still get the time out. I had to throw on legacy mode. This is when using the XBOX 360/one to PS4 adapter.

is there a specific type of USB extension or hub i should get for the converter? 2.0 or 3.0? i want it looking more tidy when i plug it in to the ps4

Hi guys, sadly i have a huge Problem. I bought a xbox360 to ps4 converter to use my madcatz te2 stick on my New ps4. First everything worked however i got disconnects of the stick. So i tried to update the Firmware according to the instructions on the brooks hp using their Files. However, now the stick or my xbox360 pad are both dead. No light on the Xbox button on the stick/pad… Can somebody help me?

So I just tested the PS2 to PS2 Super Converter from Brook Accessories.

I tried it on my PC, PS3 and PS4 with a Dual Shock 2, a Toodles MC Cthlhu and a PS2 version of the Sega Saturn game Pad (mine is the purple Dark Stalkers edition).
It all works excellent as expected. The D-pad works as DP/ POV Hat like it should. TP Key was remapped to select on the PS4.
No noticeable lag or drop inputs, and I don’t expect this adapter to have any issues with PS2 sticks.

Only hiccup I had updating the adapter was I forgot to turn off my antivirus first, not a big issue at all.
Updating the firmware was very easy.

I give it 5 out of 5 Gold Stars.

What’s the peripherals in device and printer area when converter plugged in USB?

I think you should missed a step to exit updated mode after updated successful.

I have the exact same issue. Before update it worked until time out and now after firmware update the stick is not recognized on PS4. Can you send the message to me too?

Please press combo.keys to exit updating mode, when app shows a page of updated successful.
In exit updating mode, it turned on Blue LED.

every time i go to buy one i check this thread and see people talking about how it killed there ps4 or arcade stick. Is this a common problem? I want to invest but a little afraid to atm.

I purchased the x1/360 to ps4 convertor. I can’t get the elite controller to work on the convertor and I want to use it for sfv on the ps4. I went to the website and it said their is an update to make it compatible but I’m not gonna lie I am not very computer savy. I need help with someone maybe skyping me or talking me thru the steps on how to do this. My wife and I tried for over an hour to no avail. I’m even willing to send my convertor in the mail and have someone update it for me and send it back. Someone please help.

Refer to look the video (PS3->PS4), Brook PS4 Converter used the same updating process to update. Only different combo keys to enter and exit updating mode.

The website is so confusing where do I select to download the usb driver and the updated b patch? I can’t find where to download the usb driver. There is nothing on the website that says “click here to download usb driver”. This is kinda frustrating.
