Do you have install USB Driver and update B patch file on your X360/XB1 to PS4 Converter ?
It would not be EVO approved and getting support from SRK members if it was killing consoles.
Hi, I’m new and in need of some assistance. I just got my ps3>ps4 converter and yesterday I was trying to install the driver necessary when trying to make it work. However, in the instructions for the 3.15 driver, I get to the part where I have to install the 64bit driver onto the usb device. Once I get to this part the driver itself changes its name to ZeroPlus, and then I hit next to install. After doing this, the driver fails to install, and then my computer doesn’t recognize the converter as the “PS4 Wired Gamepad” anymore, and is now moved from “Devices” to “Unspecified” in the Devices and Printers window. I don’t know what I’ve done wrong, and I don’t know how to fix it. Could anyone help me out with this? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. (I apologize in advance for this too, as stuff like this is a little confusing to me).
These convertors don’t kill PS4s or arcade sticks. If the convertors aren’t updated correctly the stick won’t work on the required machine. It’s just a case of updating the convertor correctly (& it always gets sorted out in the end).
So don’t worry.
@Icecohled
Fix 3.15 timeout issue, you only updated A patch file.
Don’t install USB driver and don’t update B patch file.

Has anyone tried using the PS3 to PS4 coverter on PC? I wonder what USB controller it is using and if it will fix my PS3 Madcatz TE Round 2 fightstick issue on PC.
I’m wondering if anyone had experience on the ps3 to xbox one adapter, I own the madcatz arcade stick pro and mayflash arcade stick which has been modded, I was wondering if my fightsticks would be compatible for this adapter?
Mad Catz is supported, not sure about Mayflash
I want to use the DS4 on my PS3. However, I know first hand that the DS4 only partially works or doesn’t work at all for some of PS3 games.
Does anyone know if the Brook PS3/PS4 to PS3/PS4 adapter allows the DS4 to work 100% with all PS3 games? (As if the PS3 thought a DS3 was plugged in)
Does anyone know if there’s been some sort of stealth update from Sony? Because my white PS3 to PS4 Brook converter is not working anymore with my PS3 TE arcade stick. The blue light isn’t even coming on when I plug it in. The last time I used it was on 2/27 and it was working fine then.
EDIT: Actually nevermind as problem solved!
I still think Sony should let us use the PS3 Controller
Not going to happen.
I’ve been looking for a way to get rid of my Eightarc stick, which I only use for Marvel on 360. I normally use my madcatz TE2 ps3/ps4 stick now. If I can find a brooks ps3>360 converter and I use my te2 on ps3 mode, does anyone know if that will make it work on 360? That’s assuming I can even find one in stock
I’ve been doing what u said to get my elite controller to work. Everytime I try to update firmware B on the convertor tho it says “plug convertor to update firmware, don’t connect the controller at the moment” what am I supposed to do? This message never goes away.
For those with the PS360+ -> White ps3 to ps4 Brook converter, is there any particular order that you plug things in? My PS360+ is working fine (as I can use it in SFV as a PS3 legacy controller just fine) and my white Brook converter is also working fine (I can use a Dual Shock 3 and a PS3 Hori Mini Stick with it) and both of them are fully updated. However I’m getting nothing with the combination of the PS360+ and the Brook. I’ve tried plugging in the converter and the controller in various orders (converter into PS4, then plug in arcade stick into converter, arcade stick into converter then converter into PS4) and I’ve tried both with holding P1 + P2 to force PS3 mode and with just plugging it in and letting it autodetect. No love so far though.
@GOGO.Zippy Is there any way you could implement Asynchronous SOCD into one of your firmwares for Hitbox users? I’m using one which currently emulates the following outputs:
Left+Right=Last Input, so if holding left, then press right at the same time it will input right etc.
Up+Down=Up
The reason is mainly because this behaves the same way that a normal keyboard does when playing, it makes playing Charge characters that much more fluid.
