Brook Converters Thread

Can anyone confirm that these would make a PS3 Round 1 TE work on PC?

Sorry, I was just saying that I was having the same ps4 issue as MaybeMemories so it probably isn’t the Brook adapter’s fault since I’m using an actual ps4 stick. I don’t know how that tournament snippet got in there, haha, might’ve accidentally pasted something on mobile.

No, the white one is PS3 to PS4, it might work with some games, but it doesn’t currently work with SFV, it’d be safer to go with something that does Xinput.

Yep, plug your headset straight into the PS4 dongle (via the supplied extension cord, if you need).

Takes the sound straight from the PS4. The other dongle is for use with “standard” Bluetooth headsets (like the one for the Xbox 360). I’ve never used it and it’s still in the bag.

The PS4 is dead.
Convertor worked the first time, played for an hour or so
Next day, while playing for 5-6 minutes, PS4 turned off abruptly.

Then i unplugged the convertor and tried playing again but PS4 kept turning off
now it doesn’t even go into safe mode and turns off as soon as it goes on

i’m not sure if its a related issue, some ps4’s have this issue, just double checking if anyone else has had that issue.

My week old ps4 has been doing this too. Probably going to have to ship it off to Sony if it keeps happening. I’m using a rap4 though.

This issue is only happened on SFV, could you help to check others games have the same??

We tested a half hour on SFV, it is fine. We will continue looking and playing.

i will tests again tonight and get back to you guys, it was fine last night on the new ps4 [ i got a new one ]

Probably has nothing to do with the converter. Some PS4 are faulty out of the box, hdmi issues, the rubber on the front causing discs to eject etc…

Does anyone know where I can download the ZeroPlus USB driver to get the B file installed, I’m running Windows 10 and it’s impossible to get to the “Windows Update Catalog” (no IE) to get the controller driver. The A file worked fine, but following the videos I need the ZPusb driver to get the B update to run properly.

Hi, if I buy the white one for my Qanba q4 am I good for tournaments? I only need it for SFV and Guilty Gear Xrd if the games matter

It’s up to the tournament organizers. They’re allowed at Evo. Make sure to download the update to disable the turbo function.

Sounds good. Just to double check is there any other restrictions I need to turn off or do? Like use an extended USB or anything or am I good? Also I heard someone saying one of the Brook converters don’t work for SFV on ps4, just to make sure the white one works for SFV on ps4 right?

Get an USB extension cord. You heard wrong, the converters work with SFV.

xbox360 -> PS4 Brook Adapter arrived today to me. I followed the guide manual to update the hardware from update manually drive 64 bitsystem ad the adapter is named zero plus… then i tried to update the firmware A or B type but the adapter doesnt work when plugged to PS4… plz help me!!!
