Has anyone had any problems with their ps4 when using their convertors?
i’ve been using 360>PS4 and my PS4 just started turning off, now its pretty dead.
Not sure if its a related issue

The PS4 is dead.
Convertor worked the first time, played for an hour or so
Next day, while playing for 5-6 minutes, PS4 turned off abruptly.

Then i unplugged the convertor and tried playing again but PS4 kept turning off
now it doesn’t even go into safe mode and turns off as soon as it goes on

i’m not sure if its a related issue, some ps4’s have this issue, just double checking if anyone else has had that issue.

ALSO how do i know wether the convertor needs an update? dont think i had an 8min time out.

Please go Brook website to download for fixing timeout issue.
Choice correct file to update. >> http://www.brookaccessory.com/download/
To fix timeout issue, only updates A patch file. Don’t install USB Driver and B patch file

Step1: plug converter with controller or stick with L3
Step2: Run App and follow process combo keys to enter and exit updating mode.

Look at video file, skip to >> A patch file started at 02:00 to 04:00

I plan on ordering soon, an important question from reading the instructions. Do I need an actual PS4 controller to do firmware updates? I’ll only be playing on a PS4 when I’m out, I don’t own one. If so, then I should get a PS stick and a convert to XB1.

I’m using an Xbox360Xbone to PS4 converter (Green) - with an Xbone elite controller and a madcatz 360 TE fightstick… both have 3.5mm audio connections that I’d love to use my new Audio Technica ATH-ADG1x!

Will this ever work in the future?

PS2-PS4:
Downloaded the latest driver (3.15), extracted the ZIP file and ran the .exe however the application as shown in the guide with the “update” button doesn’t come up. I see the process in windows task manager. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate.

1. Disable Virus software
2. Run App and don’t plug converter in USB
3. Press PS Key then plugged in USB
4. Waiting a moment at first time and Don’t release PS Key
5. Update icon enabled to do.

Because the PS2 games in the store are perfectly capable of being handled by the DS4.

He basically spent the weekend helping me get my PS3/PS4 to Xbox one converter updated. Finally got my Hitbox arcade running on Killer Instinct.

20 messages back and forth and got everything working. A++++ customer support.

I have the same setup you do. I’m not sure if they’ll ever get the audio issue fixed. BUT…

I got it for $12 from an Amazon seller.

You plug it into a USB port on the PS4. Plug in your favorite headset (in my case, the my Xbone Turtle Beach XO4s) and VOILA!

The PS4 also automatically mutes the TV for you and allows you to custom control the audio settings (to some degree). It’s pretty cool. =)

Oh wow. So I plug the headset into the USB dongle that’s connected to the PS4? Why are there two dongles in the photo? I don’t use a TV, I use a monitor… So might help.

This issue is only happened on SFV, could you help to check others games have the same??

We tested a half hour on SFV, it is fine. We will continue looking and playing.

Which stick are you using? The RAP4 for PS4 or Xbox One?

First time poster here on Shoryuken.

I just received my Brook converter in the mail today. I got the black model Xbox360 to Xbox One for a MadCatz SE fight stick that I decked out with all new sanwa parts last year.

I LOVE IT!

I didn’t need to update anything, I just plugged in and played. I have it hooked up to a 3.0 USB hub and with everything connected I notice ZERO LAG. I can still do my manuals in Killer Instinct just fine. Now I’m really pumped for Season 3.

Great product…and by the looks of things in this thread great costumer service.
