Brook Converters Thread

I’m having the same problem as others where my 360 to PS4 converter is stuck in update mode, with a purple LED. When file A tells me to release the mode by pressing the combo key, it LED first goes to red when I press HOME+START but when I press L3+HOME the LED ends up going back to purple.

Please help.

@GOGO.Zippy Please send me this magic message other people speak of…360 to PS4 converter

@UserX03
About Combo keys in enter and exit, there’re three steps

  1. Press HOME+START
  2. Press L3
  3. L3 don’t release then press HOME.

Which file to update? Please give more information to help U.

@GOGO.Zippy Yes, sorry I wasn’t clear in my post but I’m doing the three steps and it still stays purple.

I’m using this update located here: http://www.brookaccessory.com/download/Xbox%20360%20to%20PS4/

This file specifically http://www.brookaccessory.com/library/dl_file.php?dir=download&filename=5Zv%2F4ll54c27cmiuuBWOZTcefYeM9A&o_file=XBOX360toPS4_20160115.rar

I got it working! Turns out I updating using the “Tournament mode” update. I updated using XBOX360toPS4_20160205.rar instead and it worked.

@GOGO.Zippy
hi having a little issue with the XBOX360 to PS4 converter.
Everything is updated Drivers and tournament mode firmware
but after plugging in controller and converter to my PS4 it disconnects from the PS4 system in about 5-10 seconds with this message.

Not sure what is going on with it.

I also have a PS3/PS4 to PS3/PS4 and a PS2 to PS3/PS4 which work perfectly no problems
both in tournament mode.

Please , Could you update (only ) A patch file to try again. Thanks

Gave it a try, still getting disconnected within 5 seconds.
Since I had previously updated with A and B is there a way to clear the firmware in order to start over?

The light on the the converter is correct Red+Blue but it goes out every 5 seconds and drops the connection.

Please check below items
(1)Plug converter without your 360 controller, is it fine?
(2)update normal version, only A patch file, then converter with controller & without controller. is it fine?
(3)Change another USB port, is it fine?

Xbox360->PS4 I don’t have a xbox 360 controller

@oodk

Just realized that my ps2 stick that I have a ps3 converter for won’t work on street fighter 5. I’m trying to find a brook ps2 to ps4 adapter but it appears sold out everywhere. Any suggestions on where I could pick one up?

@SuperSamyon
Brook are going to do a mass production.
The P2-P4 converter… It may be restock in the beginning of March.

Thanks for the update. Is there a way I can get on a mailing list to know when it will be available?

I already have a ps2 to ps3 adapter. If I was to buy the ps3 to ps4 adapter and Daisy chain the two together would that be a bad, laggy idea?

@SuperSamyon
You tried to find it in others distributors

Got my 360XOne to PS4 converter today and just wanted to thank those of you on here for being so helpful, a quick browse through the pages and I was easily able to set it up with my 360 stick and it works like a charm, thanks guys!

I’ve few questions:

  1. I use an xbox 360 wireless controller with http://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/r-sAAMXQO21RyBCr/s-l300.jpg , is it the good dongle compatible with your products?

  2. I don’t plan on buying an xbox one pad, we agree that I need only the 360 -> ps4, the 360/Xb1 -> PS4 doesn’t offer more options without xboxone pad right?

  3. I actually use a cronus max (not the latest version), and got disconnected every 7-8mn, lot of time I’ve error CE-34878-0 who make a crash of the game. With brook converter, I’ll not have this error thanks to no-disconnect functions?

I play a lot offline tournament in my area, I’m looking for a product which work like a charm, from feedbacks here it sounds like brook converter :stuck_out_tongue:

@SpyxTEC
is it the good dongle compatible with your products?
Yes… It’s working well with Brook Converters

My Xbox360 to PS4 Super Converter is heavily delayed in-game when using a Madcatz TE Round 1. I could not use my stick to update the firmware due to no L3, and left not working. So I used an Xbox 360 pad. The Xbox 360 pad has no delay whatsoever. Does it make a difference what peripheral I plug into the converter while updating the firmware?

And just to be sure, which update files should I be using? I have

A: ZPPN004-A_TE_V11_20160115
B: ZPPN004-B_V13_20151002

and

A: ZPPN004-A_V14_20160205
B: ZPPN004-B_V13_20151002

Also, just so I can troubleshoot, may I have the magic message too? Thank you.

(1) When you plug converter by itself into PS4 same disconnect . When you press guide/home to play the light will still go out and reset every 5 seconds.
I have tested this with madcatz TE1, Wired 360 pad, a friends Qanba stick, and my PS360+ in forced 360 mode (2P+2K). All inputs however tested work on PC
with no disconnection of converter.

(2) As above I have added only Patch A as you said and will still kick me out of any PS4 log in attempt on any arcade stick/pad I own.

(3) Yes I have tried two different PS4 systems and both ports on each
