Brook Converters Thread

They arent in production any more. I was helping out KaneBlueRiver trying to get some more to his region and Brook (via Zippy) confirmed a few things: They weren’t firmware upgradeable and they actually had a ton of lag. Brook was considering recreating them using the newer design converters.

@NunoV2 private message me and I’ll send you a link

Ah thanks for the info. I hope they do recreate them some time, I know a number of people in my area who would be into that, as I know people who have PS3 sticks or prefer PS3 pads but play 3S and everyone in my area plays 3S on 360.

Hi Guys
We are sorry to say that some users have experienced problems with our PS4 Super Converters series after doing PS System 3.15 upgrade.

BROOK All PS4 Super Converters disconnects after 8 minutes

We are terribly sorry for the inconveniences this may cause our customers.
Our R&D team is working hard to fix this issue, and we will release a fix as soon as we have it ready.

Maybe Tomorrow will release the latest firmware in Brook official website.

Thank you,
The Brook Team

Thanks, Zippy. I literally got mine yesterday too. XD

Got my PS2 to PS4 converter and updated the firmware and put on the TE mode.
My PS4 is updated too.
Was able to use my PS2 pad on the PS4 (didn’t try it for a long time so don’t know if >8 min is OK).

Tomorrow will get out the PS2 MAS stick and see if I can use it on the PS4.

Will check back here tomorrow to see if there’s an update for the firmware.

If there is an update do we have to put the TE mode on again?

@Talim_JP
BROOK is still offering TE mode on Official website.

Any updates on the firmware update I just order the PS3 to ps4

Is Sony actively trying to block these with each update?

Any unsigned usb device yup

My brooke ps4/ps3 to ps4/ps3 stopped working and I had to plug it in and plug it out to get it to work. It has happens two times now. It may be the update that has started this problem.

Is it possible to update the ps3-ps4 converter without a ps3 pad? Im in the middle of moving and all my ps3 pads are on a moving truck a few states away.

Read a few posts back. Brook acknowledged 3.15 update broke the adapters. They also confirmed they will be releasing the firmware upgrade soon.

Ok so

oooh ok I see it. Thank you.

@butteroj
We are going to do this plan in PS4 converters, but not in this updated code.

Oops…wrong thread! Sorry

Dear customer,
Sorry to keep you waiting, here is the latest firmware update that accommodate PS4 3.15 version.

$$$$$$$$$$$$
You can only update ( ZPPXX-A_20160114) to fix 8-min timeout issue in V3.15.

If converter ran (ZPPXX–A_20151113) or higher version, you could use Left to replace L3.

Thanks for the quick update. Did you discover what Sony did to cause the timeout to occur? I hope they are not actively trying to block your devices.

So, this means I can use my ps360 stick and replace L3 with the left direction to enter update?

Yes…your X360 to P4 already ran on 20151113 or higher of A file. You can use Left key or L3 to enter/exit updating mode.
