You need to physically put the pcb in firmware update mode, so I don’t think “always update” is an option.
You will need to have the pcb in update mode anyway so having the box light up when it is active is a fail safe to having you press the button and nothing happening.
I have 2 TE v1 and 2 other sticks modded with the SFIV madcatz fightpads. I want to use them on both my PS4 and Xbox One. So basically 360 > Xbone and PS4. WHich converter does that?
I got the 360 to PS4 converter. I used it with my 360 TE for the SFV beta. It works really well.
The only thing I did not like is you need a wired 360 controller to update the firmware because you need to press the left stick button.
My stick is the only wired controller I had and it has no L3 button, so I had to borrow a friends 360 pad.
You should definitely change the button configuration for update mode, since a lot of people will be using these with arcade sticks, and no last gen stick has an L3 button.
When I updated the firmware on my 360 -> X1 adapter, during the first step there was a picture of a DualShock. I thought that meant that I needed to have a DualShock, but pressing the equivalent buttons on my 360 controller worked. Maybe try connecting a DS3/4 and using that…?
Zippy: I have the black Xbox 360 -> Xbox One adapter. It’s great. My PS360+ works 100%. But the adapter doesn’t work with my Hori HRAP-VX SA. Could that stick work in the future?
Just received my P3/P4 to Xbox One but no luck. The led light never comes on and am unable to update. My x360/xone to P4 works great and light goes on as soon as I connect to my pc or Xbox one USB port. Any suggestions?
P.S. I bought the P3/P4 to Xbox One on ebay. Looks legit but this one says “Designed in Taiwan” compared to my X360/XONE to PS4 "Made in Taiwan ".

(1)Could you help to test your P3/P4 to XBOX One work on XBOX One console?
(2)When you want to use P3/P4 to XBOX One on PC, please install Microsoft Driver.
I got it to work on the Xbox one. LED turns on and seems to be working fine. But how do I update to latest firmware? My PC won’t recognize it even after installing the Xbox one controller drivers from Microsoft.

When I updated the firmware on my 360 -> X1 adapter, during the first step there was a picture of a DualShock.
Sorry, please use XBOX360 wired controller to update, like app’s picture.
BROOK have tested Xbox 360 -> Xbox One adapter with Hori HRAP-VX SA, they work well to use firmware from official website. Please updated the latest firmware to confirm and Thanks.
Which firmware version do you update in your converter?
Ok…I’m almost done. Got everything going right except part “B” of the driver update. It never gives me the “update” icon even though the zero plus driver was installed and when the controller is not in the “settings” mode the device manger still shows the adapter as an xbox one controller. Plus, it does not give the option to run as administrator when I right click on part “B” update.

Sooorry… it’s complex updating process on XBOX One series converter. Brook is going to improve …
