Very interesting. I wonder if Sony is directly trying to combat these unlicensed adapters or if it is just by chance the firmware update messes shit up? I like how the 3.11 changelog is simply “improve system performance” lol. They aren’t going to give us anything.

Glad to hear that. I feel this may just be a technical issue, not Sony intentionally trying to stop the converter.
Hmm, my ps3>ps4 converter has also stopped working after the ps4 update. I hope it can be resolved by a firmware update before the next SFV beta.
I have faith in Brook and GOGO.zippy since their customer service has been superb so far.

We are sorry to say that some users have experienced problems with our PS4 Super Converters series after doing PlayStation’s 3.11 upgrade.
The following two issues have been confirmed:
1.) The Super Converter disconnects after 8 minutes
2.) the Super Converter light go red and pressing a button does not trigger a response on the screen.
We are terribly sorry for the inconveniences this may cause our customers. Our R&D team is working hard to fix this issue, and we will release a fix as soon as we have it ready. Thank you,

- follow combo key process to enter and exit updating mode

Heyho boys and girl. We started a petition against banning converters and not special licensed hardware for the PS4. The idea started because of the issue mentioned above. We want to set an end to Sonys political decisions regarding third party hardware and licensing because it’s against the free market economy and pushes the big players in the industry, not those wo built very good hardware for less prices. Or companies like brooks converters wo reenable old hardware. I hope a lot of people sign the petition so I can give sony a huge list of people who don’t want this.
P.S. Sorry for my 1st post here but I’m a german dude which mainly post on the national forum hardedge. But I think this issue affects us all and I want to reach as much people as I can.
And if somebody has photoshop skills or something, he or she can help the petition to get a new better logo for the petition.

update failed for 3.11 fix
PS3 to PS4 converter works for me now with latest update.
Same with me. Just tested, ps3 to ps4 works without problems
Update is working for me – no more 8 minute reset. Update failed at first, just clicked update again and it worked. Instructions after that are a bit confusing (after you leave update mode and return to normal mode, it should update the instructions to let you know you can disconnect – right now it still shows input instructions with an ‘update’ button)

This may have already been asked, and sorry that I didn’t read all 10 pages of this thread, but I have (2) custom sticks, both are dual modded with MC Cthulhu and Xbox 360 pad hack (support PS3/PC/Xbox 360 and all retro consoles that the MC Cthulhu supports). They are both flashed with Cthulhu firmware v2.3. I would like to achieve Xbox One compatibility. Which version of the Brook’s converter is best for me?
