I just tested the latest firmware Update for the white PS3 -> PS4 Converter.
With my PS360+ (latest firmware and latest hardware revision) the buttons R2 and L2 are not recognised - all other buttons are working.
With an other PS3 Stick the Buttons are recognised perfectly.
The Ps360+ also works perfectly with the Xbox360 -> PS4 Converter.
So this definitely is related to PS360+ with the white PS3 -> PS4 converter only.

Which version did you use to update ?
Below link for white converter’s latest version.
It can work perfectly with PS360+ all buttons including L2 and R2…by more guys verification.
Please look updated instructions before doing again.
(1) Step 1. Plug-in converter with PS3 controller.
(2) Step 2. unzip> ZPPN001-A_V11_20151021_Touchpadkey and run…folow process to enter and exit updated.
(3) Step 3. Remove Ps3 controller from converter.
(4)Step 4. Installed.ZEROPLUS Driver , please check OS version 32 or 64-bit
(5) Step 5. B file > upzip and run ZPPN001-B_V14_20151013.exe without PS3 controller
@GOGO.Zippy were you able to get your hands on a xb1 elite controller yet? I’m holding off purchase on an adapter until I know it’s compatible. I can’t wait to use it on ps4 B)

I just bought a ps3 to ps4 converter so I can use my hori fighting commander 3 pro.
Am I required to do a firmware upgrade once it arrives or will it work str8 away with the hori pad?
@Tarek latest version improved compitable issues. If your stick can work with Converter, so not update firmware…

Hey guys I ran into a weird problem with my Brook xbox 360/one to ps4 converter. After I updated my ps4 to version 3.11 the device stopped reading my inputs after a few minutes . What I mean is the controller is still connected to the console, but after around 8 minutes it won’t respond. I’ve had the device for a month and it’s been perfect. Anyone else having this issue?

Guys… It’s confirmed the 3.11 update reverts the adapters back to 8minute timeout. I have been testing this with @“gogo.zippy” and they are already busy working on a resolution…
