My ps3-ps4 adapter will be here tomorrow. can I get a link to the 1.4 beta so I can use cthulhu?
Just got my PS2 to PS3/PS4 converter. Works fine with a DS2, waiting for my ps2 stick to arrive in the mail. Canāt tell if itās laggy or not but Iām hitting all my links just fine.
I donāt know how reliable this info is, but you may end up needing to replace the SFAC PCB with a PS1 PCB.
I was urged to get mine replaced, which I did. Works flawlessly with the Brook adapter.
I remember your other post saying you used the SFAC with a Brook adapter. Did you also try it with the original PCB?
If I am going to replace the PCB, I might as well just padhack a PS4 controller. Was soldering involved with your PCB replacemet?
I have understood it that the SFAC PCB had issues with other converters in the past
That the SFAC board is out of spec compared to a standard PS1/PS2 digital controller.
PS/PS2 stick can connnect with BROOK PS2 -> PS3/PS4 directlyā¦Donāt soldering any wires
I was asking Vynce if he had to solder wires to change his pcb to a PS1 pcb
Using the ps2 to ps3/ps4 converter there seems to be a small bit of lag, like one frame. No one has done a lag analysis yet but ā¦
I didnāt actually do it myself, but Iām pretty sure soldering happened. On the bright side, you knew you were getting a project stick :).
I havenāt had the original PCB in years.
Yes, my intention from the start was to use the case to house replacement American parts and a padhacked PS4 PCB. I have a Japanese stick, a Korean stick, why not add an American?
Seeing FrankCastleAZ completely overhaul 11 sticks at once was pretty inspiring, Iām sure I can do this ONE mod. Thought it will be complex, and I might have to make another hole for a home button, sigh
If youāre going to put a PS4 PCB in there at some point, you could just wire the home button to the select button until you decide to add another hole/button. You wouldnāt be able to share footage in the interim, but itād be a good short term solution.
(Which Iām certain you already thought of, as I type this.)
When trying to update the usb drivers to be able to upgrade firmware Windows 10 keeps telling me the current driver is the most up to date. Any ideas how to get around this?
@butteroj use device manager to identify your updating the proper USB Human Interface. You have to update manually via the āhave diskā option - not rely on Windows to find the driver. choose the correct driver based on your OS, brook provides 32 and 64 bit versions. The adapter will be named Brook USB Adapter if you update successfully. Follow the directions it walks you through it.
This isnt my first rodeo. Lol. That is exactly what I did and it would not allow
I will just drill another hole in the back or side for Home. donāt want to be missing any buttons
Alright thanks.
Just bought a PS3 to PS4 from videogamesnewyork. Should be here in a couple of days
Iām looking at buying 2 of the white ones to use with my 2x Madcatz Arcade Fight Sticks (the older smaller white bodied sticks) for some casual fighting.
I see that I will probably have to update the firmware to 1.4 Beta because of how old they are.
Would two of these converters work at the same time with this setup?
Also, how well do they work with USB hubs? Iām guessing that I will need a USB 3.0 hub to get the best performance out of these converters.

is there a ps4 to 360 converter ?
No, BROOK donāt have PS4 -> XBOX360 Converterā¦
ok np =)
@GOGO.Zippy helped me thie upgrade going. The order of updates in the instructions are wrong. You need to do the 1.1 upgrade, then windows driver update, and finally the 1.4 upgrade.
