This is an aside, but I love how Brook has a rep here to interact with us and provide support. I hope to see the company retain this kind of hands-on approach as it flourishes.
@jonyfraze thanks for your advice. I actually did that after posting.
Contacting them by their website works best, they got back to me with instructions to update the firmware. I did this with the help of the chinese video.
It did not help with my problem with making my Hori wireless stick work.
However the converter is very cool.
No lag and all my wired PS3 sticks work. Amazing how the ds3 works wirelessly on the ps4.
Hi Noddy
I remembered your question in my mind.
BROOK already fixed this issue, we continued testing with HWRAP3 in wireless mode.
If you need beta version, I will release to you tomorrow.
Got my PS3 to PS4 in the mail yesterday.
Tested it with a few games. USF4, Skullgirls, Xrd, MegaMan, etc. Works fantastically. Absolutely no complaints.
Am I supposed to update it to a new firmware or is it fully updated right out of the box?
New/beta version fixed to compatible issue for supporting more stick or PCB.
If your converter works fine with your stick. I think you donât update itâŚ
How much lag does the Brook converter add! Has anyone made a test? It wonât matter since people say it feels lagfree, so thatâs great, but Iâm just curious.
So can these only be purchased from eBay? Also, any security concerns with these if they are breaking the security on the device to get the controllers to work?
I checked that website, but they donât have any xbox360 to ps4 adaptors. Iâm sure that is the most popular one. And using a USB extension wouldnât prevent anything not already caused by plugging it directly into the console.
