Brook Converters Thread

I can confirm v1.4 works on both cthulhu and ps360+ in ps3 mode flawlessly

Pretty Good…

This is an aside, but I love how Brook has a rep here to interact with us and provide support. I hope to see the company retain this kind of hands-on approach as it flourishes.

Thanks all Guys to love BROOK Converters.

Brook will release beta firmware to support HWRAP(Hori Wireless Real Arcade Pro3 for PS3) via wireless mode.

@jonyfraze thanks for your advice. I actually did that after posting.

Contacting them by their website works best, they got back to me with instructions to update the firmware. I did this with the help of the chinese video.

It did not help with my problem with making my Hori wireless stick work.

However the converter is very cool.
No lag and all my wired PS3 sticks work. Amazing how the ds3 works wirelessly on the ps4.

Hi Noddy
I remembered your question in my mind.
BROOK already fixed this issue, we continued testing with HWRAP3 in wireless mode.

If you need beta version, I will release to you tomorrow.

Oh wow. Your customer support is excellent. I would love to get the beta firmware please.

If it works I will be so so happy. I’ll tell all my friends to buy your products.
Thanks

Got to say the people at Brook are amazing.

I asked about my hori wireless stick and they bought the same controller as me and updated the firmware to make my stick work wirelessly.

I am over joyed!!

Time to Lord it up with my wireless stick ready for SFV beta…

Thank you so much Brook and @GOGO.Zippy

Well done and I wish Brook all the best

Thanks all guys for BROOK’s higher comment.

Got my PS3 to PS4 in the mail yesterday.
Tested it with a few games. USF4, Skullgirls, Xrd, MegaMan, etc. Works fantastically. Absolutely no complaints.
Am I supposed to update it to a new firmware or is it fully updated right out of the box?

New/beta version fixed to compatible issue for supporting more stick or PCB.
If your converter works fine with your stick. I think you don’t update it…

Wow, this product seens too good to be true, but it actually is true!

One question: It doesn’t matter if I buy the xbox360 to ps4 or the ps3 to ps4 when I have ps360+?

What’s the difference?

BROOK’s PS3 to PS4 want to update new firmware, but XBOX360 to PS4 don’t any update it for working your PS360+…

I can offer the latest firemware to you if you buy PS3 to PS4…

Hi @sfOmar

PS3 to PS4 is the best option if you have PS360+

Remember test lag from
http://www.teyah.net/sticklag/results.html

PS360+ in mode PS3
S Tier: Akishop Customs PS360+ v.2.10 New build (+0.00 ms)

PS360+ in mode X360
C Tier: Akishop Customs PS360+ v2.10 new build (+6.98 ms)

Cool!

How much lag does the Brook converter add! Has anyone made a test? It won’t matter since people say it feels lagfree, so that’s great, but I’m just curious.

@jonyfraze did a leg testing, please this share… https://youtu.be/L4rlLYE-e20

So can these only be purchased from eBay? Also, any security concerns with these if they are breaking the security on the device to get the controllers to work?

videogamesnewyork.com

They don’t break anything, use an USB extension cable if you’re scared.

I checked that website, but they don’t have any xbox360 to ps4 adaptors. I’m sure that is the most popular one. And using a USB extension wouldn’t prevent anything not already caused by plugging it directly into the console.

Using an USB extension cable prevents overheating of the USB port and damage caused by the weight of the adapter.

Oh I see what you mean now. Good call.
