i dont have windows, no one i know does ! i got a VM and it fails.

I’m on Mac and I’m getting the same error. I have a brooks universal board modded stick and I keep getting a “Final Checksum Error” whenever I try to update the firm ware. :((((
Finally got mine updated on my windows tablet. First did the update at the bottom of the downloads page, then did the update with the most recent version.
Still could never get it to work ony Mac tho.

sometimes it updates to about 90% then says TIMEOUT (wait 0C12/1CF)

SO i read somewhere that if you use a USB hub then it work.
So i tried an apple USB extension chord and while some of the same errors appeared after updating, it seems to have gone off update mode and is working now.

Ok, forgive me if this is a basic question. However, I have the PS3/PS4 adapter, and I want to update it. However, I am confused as to what the difference is between the “tournament” firmware update, and the “regular” update, aside from the LED light. As far as I see, they are the same file number. I just want to update my adapter, and be able to optimize the use of everything I have. Thank you.
With the regular update you can do button binding/programming and with the tournament update you can’t.
Ok, So, this is the first time I’m updating my adapter, and the update program will open. But, then it stops responding. I’m been trying to update my adapter since about noon. Can someone please help? I’ve been looking around, ant it appears that maybe I need to update to a previous version first. However, I cannot find where that might be.

It won’t let me download the exe file. Nevermind. I got that. New issue. I bought the adapter to use my SCV stick, which is the only PS3 “controller” I have. I am not sure how to accomplish the “L3” step of the update.
