Tried to update my x360 to ps4 converter but the installer just freezes and stops responding.
Left it there hanging for 1 complete hour but nothing happened. I connected the stand alone converter to my pc by the way, don’t know if I also need to connect a stick to it.
My experience with Brook converters has been complete awful.
Bought a PS3 -> 360 converter for my PS3 TE Round 2 and TE MvsC2 to use both stick on my PC and it didn’t work.
Then I tried using my TE2 USF4 Comic-Con stick on PS3 mode to see if it works as a X360 pad on my PC and it worked. It has something to be with the TE round 2 and MvC2 sticks beign legacy USB 1.0 and not USB 2.0, the converter can’t read inputs from a USB 1.0 arcade stick. So those were $35 to the drain.
The lack on information is what kills it. Where is a stick compatibility list? Is there any converter that will work with the 1st gen TE’s? I’m buying this stuff blindly because no one knows so.
Month later bought a 360 -> PS4 converter and the update software completely freezes up and window stops responding, tried both the connecting stand alone converter and converter WITH arcade stick, update still doesn’t work. So another $40…
It’s impossible to recommend these converters from my experience.
Hi, i would like to know if i can use my 360 Mad Catz Arcade FightStick Tournament Edition 1 with the 360/xbox one to ps4 converter with no problems before i purchase the item. Sorry for the noob question, just that i read somewhere that it does not work with the tournament edition 1.
@german01
I thought it could work with brook converters.
if possible, please try it and give a answer, and take a lot of pictures to describe this stick.
Yes, that’s the one i have. Thank you for checking on it, also my brother has this stick
i know that on the compatibility link it says Mad Catz:Arcade FightStick PRO for Xbox 360 but not sfv vs tekken, it shouldn’t matter since its the same one as the above pro. We purchase two converters already, will let you know if we have any problems.
Where is the 20160408 version ? I only find the new one , and I tried installing it on 2 laptops and a Desktop PC. It just freezes up and crashes.
At the download page, there is only 1 version available. At the description it says “ZIP file has both the old one (20160408 ) and the new one”. http://i.imgur.com/8HMgeRi.png
after 1, proceed to execute v2.1(the latest one on the website)
P.S.:
A. Depend on your demand, you can download two versions, XBOX 360 to PS4 and (Tournament)XBOX360 to PS4. The tournament edition doesn’t have turbo and remap function.
Refer to the link with a video of how you can use Brook Xbox 360 to PS4 converter with Xbox 360 Wireless Gaming Receiver For Windows
It tells how you can play with your Xbox 360 wireless controller
i have the xbox360->ps4 converter and yesterday it didn’t work, it was okay last week though. (I go to a weekly gaming event, I don’t own a ps4 myself).
I think there might have been an update for ps4? Could someone confirm that their converters work or don’t work?
What do you mean by it didn’t work? The blue light not coming on? If that’s case, it’s most likely that it wasn’t plugged in properly, you have to push it entirely into the USB port. Sometimes you think it’s in, but it’s actually not. You can also use a USB extension cable.
when a single purpose, simple device doesn’t work, what do you think that means? seriously.
yea, I plugged it in. Yes, it lighted up. I am not retarded. Even the PS4 was powered on! Wow!
My xbox360 stick couldn’t be used as a ps4 controller, it wasn’t recognized. Last week I could use it. That’s why asked people to confirm my suspicions.
No, my stick didn’t brake before you ask it. And yes, i was using the latest firmware.
