Brook Converters Thread

Over USB only? Or with Bluetooth?

@HankMcCoyX
Only USB…

@GOGO.Zippy I’m having that issue that some others are. I have a Xbox 360 TE Stick with TE Kitty and using Xbox 360/Xbox One to Xbox One converter and have to force it into 360 mode which is a hassle. It seems like your Magic Messages have been helping with that. Also it doesn’t allow me to update the converter using that stick in forced 360 mode. I’m trying this one ZPPK001-A_V15_20160222, I’ve also tried connecting the Xbox One Elite controller to perform the update since it does say Xbox One to Xbox One. It just ends up at Update Failed. I’m on Windows 10 32-bit.

So is there a difference between the 360 to PS4 and PS3 to PS4 converters if an arcade stick can use either?

If you already got a Dual-modded Stick that does PS3 and Xbox 360, and you want to have a Brooks adapter that adapts to PS4
You can use ether one and it not make a real difference. The differences between the two converters are so minute you never notice.

Just go with what ever your preference is

Don’t connect a controller when you do the update.

@Talim_JP Thanks you to help… I already sent a patch file to @ScottMasterCraig in his inbox. Please check …

Thanks, I was now able to update it with the controller connected and the file you sent. But is there a way for the Brook to identify as a Xbox 360 so the TE Kitty automatically goes into Xbox 360 mode? Since I still have to force it into 360 mode, every time I connect. If not that’s fine, however it seemed like there might be since another user had that issue and didn’t ask again.

@ScottMasterCraig
If possible, give me more information about TE Kitty.
I will purchase one to check your issue.

Most of the best fighting games of all time are on PS2 especially with the Japan imports. I am shocked no one has made a PS3 / PS4 to PS2 converter. Many have waited for something like this for a long time. This would save so many from so much hassle. Brook is the only one who could make it happen.

I got your voice…

There’s no reason to limit the input to the PS3/PS4, right?

@ShinMagus
Maybe other input… No limited
Keep getting more information

^ if it’s low-cost i’d insta buy 4

@GOGO.Zippy I mean the input could be PS3, PS4, Xbox360, XboxOne and even generic USB controllers… :slight_smile:

Hi All
No timeout issue on V4.05

Keep going…

Hey guys out of curiosity, is there a way you can use your brook as a bluetooth adapter to plug your ps3 pad to your pc and play sf5 on steam? (asking this because the wire connection hub of my ps3 is slightly damaged, usb wire wobbles a bit)

@uberpr0
There are five converters to support bluetooth function to communicate with your PS3 wireless controller
(1) PS3 to PS4
(2) PS3/PS4 to PS3/PS4
(3) PS3 to XBOXOne
(4) PS3/PS4 to XBOXOne
(5) PS3/PS4 to XBOX360

How to setup?
step1: Brook and PS3 wireless controller used a usb cable to register at first time.
step2: To Remove usb cable then communicate with together in wireless mode.

or refer to look Brook user manual

I’ve been looking for a way to do this since I got rid of my PS2 sticks. A USB to PS2 converter would be a godsend.
