Brook Converters Thread

@Johnick
Please find them from our distributors as below link http://www.brookaccessory.com/detail/15041942/

Haven’t played SFV in a while – PS4 updates killed the adapter too often for me to bother keeping it updated. Is it still like that or do PS4 updates no longer break it?

@dfyb
The converter works well on V4.0/V4.05… Don’t update any file.

How is the ps2 to ps3/ps4 converter when used on PC? Any lag? Planning to use this for speedrunning

I don’t have extract figures, but the latency is minimal.
There a imperceivable amount of lag on Brook devices and I never head of anyone ever complaining about the lag.

I my self have the PS2 to PS3/PS4 converter and with the PS2 controllers I use (I have The PS2 Sega Saturn Game pad) and I did not have any drop inputs or lag issues.

Hi All

Brook goods work well on PS4 Pro.

has anyone had problems with the PS2toPs4 converter and using ps2/ps1 controllers? The joysticks arent centering properly
I’ve tried plugging and unplugging the adapter and different controllers but when left completely still and untouched one of the sticks if not both lingers elsewhere. dont know if its the joysticks on the ps1/ps2 controllers or wat

what do u mean? i don’t get it

Basically the joysticks on the ps1/ps2 controllers are super sensitive in analog games. and it doesnt seem theres a deadzone. so I’m guessing since the joysticks are not centering 100% they ā€œstickā€ in directions causing slight movement.

I dont really know if it’s the converter (because it does work, iv updated it several times and iv had it a while), but just thought I’d ask about it.

V4.06 released today… Brook is working fine without any patch file.

Okay so I have the blue PS3 to Xbox One adapter and tried for about an hour + last night to update it but no luck. Without an update the adapter lacks support for my VSHG. I am on Windows 10 64-bit/

The adapter is recognized by the system, I installed the zeroplus drivers, but when I run the A update the updater is stuck on a screen that says"Please plug in controller." For some reasons the update program does not recognize the controller even though the system does.

Has anybody else run in to this issue and figured out a solution?

Thanks so much!

Can somebody tell me if a fightstick modded with a PS360+ can work flawlessly with a Brook converter (XBOX 360 to PS4)? I heard that there’s compatibility issues with them but I’m unable to find a real proof of that. Thanks for your help! :wink:

@GOGO.Zippy are retail shops going to carry the FPS Sniper converter in places like video games new york?
I went to order direct at your site, but the added shipping cost and tax are too high.

Is there a way to find out what firmware version is installed on the PS3|PS4 to XBox One adapter? The thing works well with a regular DS4 controller and a bunch of fight sticks that I own but using a Logitech Drive Force GT won’t work at all.

Also, I tried to update the firmware (followed the directions carefully on the PDF) but I keep getting this prompt

I think the device was made in 3/2015 but the ink wore off
