Isn’t that in the Ibuki PLAYER GUIDE? I really doubt it’s an unblockable against Seth… That’s not right at all. I gotta test this I guess.
Why would sj.MK make a difference over sj.LK?
So… you mean his overhead right?
I use Jump MK cause it gives me more hit stun. So I don’t jab right away like you would have to with LK.
Yeah the overhead that hits while she’s standing up, lol.
Hmm that is a good point. Might as well just go for the j.LK xx f+MK air target combo while you’re at it then. Maybe it can be turned into an option select as well? Similar to Motempest’s crossup sj.LK xx f+MK for the option select EX kazegiri.
I don’t really use her air target combos, maybe the HP into MK on occasion or in an extremely rare situation. If I’m going to go for the EX Kazegiri OS I’d still rather do it off of a jump in MK. You lose almost 40points of damage when you use her lk->mk target combo so I really don’t think it’s needed.

OK now I’m confused. First you guys talk about El Fuerte’s unbolckable and then OS’s(I’m guessing for ex run?), you guys really need to start naming moves, lol.
BTW he has 2 overheads
I play against SpabRog a lot so I kinda know this match up a little, oh and I think it sucks for Ibuki btw:
-Anytime Fuerte goes for run stop strings or the unblockable overhead your going to want to either reversal or focus back dash and followup with lk tsumuji to limit his movement
-If your knocked down you can wake up with ex raida which beats like 70% of his mixups or focus back dash to persuade him to use the command throw which is easily punishable
-If he goes for meaty slides just block and your st. jab will beats his throw attempt with the correct timing (I don’t know why this works but it does, I know he’s at +1 after the slide)
-The best answer for his ex run is to empty jump grab (just like Boxer)
-Oh and if the El Fuerte player knows how to OS and armor cancel ultra 2 on reaction, the match becomes extremely gay (btw fuck you SpabRog)
You tell us to start naming moves, but then you say stuff like “command throw.” Did you mean his Tortilla? And his other overhead… did you mean Tostada? According to frame data, he’s -1 after a blocked slide (cr.HK), so theoretically a cl.st.LP should beat everything he tries, especially since his fastest normal is 4f. Actually if you have U1 stocked, now is a good time to use it.
Yeah you can meaty throw him to beat EX run, or you can just mix up which side you land on during vortex. Or safe jump with j.HP. Let him absorb 120dmg and then just continue pressure and get a jab in somewhere.
Wakeup EX raida should NOT work unless the Elf you’re playing isn’t making his vortex meaty.
Command throw=back run, tortilla propeller
The 2nd overhead=Far st. hk
The slide is +1 if meaty, most El Fuerte’s will follow up with a throw
It depends on what Ultra he uses, Ultra 1 beats kunai vortex, Ultra 2 beats safe jumps, and armor cancel Ultra 2 beats everything. And hitting a good El Fuerte with more than 1 hit during an ex run is practically impossible since they will immediately followup with tortilla propeller or tostada press. You can however jump back and tk super if you see it coming
I know it beats tostada press and tortilla propeller if you know how to auto correct it, then again your probably better off just blocking and punish accordingly
It doesn’t beat Tostada since it’s not a throw/grab, and if meaty it’ll just counterhit you. It does beat Tortilla though, but the risk/reward of wakeup raida is a lot higher than simply neutral jumping or something.
When dudley is in the corner you can do, ex Neckbreaker > mk cd > normal jump > mk it’s an unblockable( corner only). I know most people would go for EX tsumuji into Raida, but yeah that’s one more option to consider.
How do you come up with this stuff?
confirmed?
I didn’t know about that one right now.
I’m trying it out in training mode right now but I can’t get it to work. It just always lands in front of him.
Can’t confirm. Been going at it for 5 mins in training room and still no success.
… I’ve managed to make it do something weird, but not unblockable. Useless imo, if it does work timing is too strict.
Hmm, it’s weird that it doesnt work for you guys, i have tried 3 times now, it works. Timing too strict? hmm I don’t know i guess i’ll have another go at it, too bad i can’t record it.
Do you move forward a bit after the MK command dash or something?
are u psn/xbl/gfwl?
just make a lobby with some1 who can record it and reproduce.
Guys I’ve tested this out, it’s not an unblockable, but it is weird. What he’s referring to is Ibuki hitting the back of Dudley, but he has to block it as if it hits on the front. This means you can choose between j.MK and j.LK for a 50/50. I don’t know how or why this happens, but to be honest, just through a Kunai.
No Izuna, that’s not what i was referring to, it’s a true unblockable. After trying it again however, i was able to reproduce it once after like 14 tries. Ultimately, Izuna was right, the timing on it is very strict. Sorry for getting your hopes up guys, hopefully i will compensate with an other unblockable set-up soon enough.
