Full TC4 loop into LK Swipe kicks work on Evil Ryu. Far standing Jab also connects after TC4. CR LK -> TC4 pushes out too much for anything to be linked after.
Full TC4 into Swipe kicks and Far standing Jab work on Yun. CR. LK into TC4 lets you connect far standing jab but can’t lk swipe kick after it cause of push back.
Full TC4 into Swipe Kicks and Far standing Jab work on yang. CR LK into TC4 pushes too far back for kicks or far standing Jab. Standing jab links in corner though after CR LK -> TC4.
Nothing lands on Oni. You could loop lk swipe kick loop after ST.MP -> ST MK, but not after TC4.
I just tested this really quick but I might go through them again to see if I can land CR.LK -> TC4 -> Swipe kick loop cause I swore I did that in the arcade. Could be cause I’m learning how to play without sound so my timing is ass.
Unblockable after EX Neck Breaker works on Evil Ryu and Oni. Gonna try and figure out setup for normal Neck Breaker.
Ibuki cannot Neck Breaker Jab Blanka ball. She also cannot bait Anti Air ultra 2 with Kunai like she could in Super. Both of these caused me matches already lol.
Don’t know if this is widely known, but might as well mention it against Abel. If you block a RH Axe Kick or whatever it’s called, you can do Jab -> Knee -> LK Swipe Kicks -> Jab -> Knee -> Special.
Oh yeah, if Evil Ryu ties to Ultra 2 you and he’s facing the opposite direction of you against a corner, don’t try and attack him when he’s starting his third rep of DPs lmao.
Edit, actually she can Neck Breaker on a blocked jabbed blanka ball, it’s just gotta be done right away. She can also raw ultra 2 a HP Blanka Ball on block if you learn to time it right, but it’s pretty easy.
You can Raw Ultra 2 on block to Oni’s EX Slash, doesn’t matter if it crosses up or not. If it doesn’t cross up, you can TC4 it easily into whatever. If it crosses up, you can do ST.MK into LK Swipe Kicks -> ST Jab -> ST.MK -> Special.
Knee into loop works after blocked HP slash as well, no raw ultra 2 though.
Can’t Knee after blocked MK Slash. You can start her Target Combo 4 but it’s tight as shit.
Can’t do anything to Jab Slash, seems safe. Actually you can Ultra 1 it on block so I’m guessing it’s -2.
Ultra 2 will beat any Slash in motion if you can react fast enough.
This is incorrect. For some reason it only does this when he’s like point blank in front of you. His foot basically has to be on your foot. Anywhere else and Ultra 2 beats it clean. This is a correction from when I mentioned earlier that her Ultra 2 lost to a point black Ultra 1 from Oni.
Is it just me or is there new spacing after U2? Like, Ibuki is closer and since her opponent is in the corner, she can dash up and SJ mixup, I think.
Also, neckbreaker definitely feels farther. It’s not as easy to hk.cd through on your opponent’s wakeup using qcf buffer. I dunno who said she had the same spacing as from super.
I thought it was common knowledge by now that her neck breaker was completely different. I don’t notice a difference in Ultra 2 though, I’ll try and pay attention some more.
Anyways, this game fucking blows ass and if they don’t patch the two homosexuals soon I prolly won’t be playing this shit much longer.
Fei should definitely be patched. He’s bad, but he’s clearly not as brainless as fucking Yun. That character is honestly a huge fucking joke, like they really did not give a shit when releasing this garbage. I’d rather fight a Gief, Fei, or even this dumb ass T-Hawk that is currently trying to lag switch me any day over either of those two homos.
God I can’t wait to start this second job so I have no time to play this garbage.
I can totally relate to what little sushi is saying. BTW Fei is good but not overpowered. Yun on the other hand is the scrubiest character in the game, and if you play Yun then yes I’m calling you a fucking scrub, good bye!
LOL. but i see what you be sayin. anywho, i told you guys, those 3 characters are total BS… thats why im picking one of them up. i mean being a mid/low tier warrior is one thing, but staring horrible odds in the face and saying “ill take that bet” is just stupid.
haha, the problem with the Twins isn’t on the general level, but watching F.Champ vs. Umehara just shows. F.Champ probably the best SSFIV player, still beats Umehara in the Dhalsim vs. Ryu match, but Yun made F.Champ lose due to the horrible match up. Considering, the match-up is probably 9-1.
THAT’S my problem with Yun. He’s stopping F.Champ from being able to even have a chance at winning. Ridiculous. Congrats for being the first Dhalsim in AE to take a round vs. Umehara lol.
Now hold on just a second. FChamp the best SSF4 player? lol? And he’s been spending quite a bit of time on MVC3. Likewise, Daigo has been spending time on MVC3, and has played close to zero AE Ryu. Good shit to Daigo with the gdlk reads on Dsim’s st.HP’s, but it’s clear he’s rusty in the Ryu vs Dsim matchup, especially with all of those failed links and the missed dp FADC ultra.
Also yeah, Yun vs Dsim is probably 6-4 at best, and possibly close to 7-3. Daigo didn’t even have to try to pee on him.
Since then, he had been winning tournaments taking out Umehara every time. Anyway that’s not really how I’m rating him as the best. Looking at him play, gimmicks and unblockables aside, imo he’s the best at reading people as well as compromising, taking the right risks at the right time. I love watching Iyo, Justin, and Umehara play, but they don’t consistently make reads like F.Champ does.
hell no at champ being best ssf4 player. sim is a character that requires good reads and at big tournaments like evo where good (but random) online players come out, its very hard for a sim to make it to the top. if champ wants to be considered the best player he needs to pick a better character ESPECIALLY now that AE is out and its more offensive. champ is really good and has gotten alot better since last year… but i still dont see him being best player… in a few months time when justin really gets a foothold on yang, he will probably be americas best player.
Yes! He’s definitely a scrub, lol. Yun and Yang are just easy mode overpowered characters. Whenever somebody tries to counter me with them because they cant beat me with anybody else, I just pick Honda and prove to people that he’s still good and he can actually fight the twins to boot.
As for Fei Long, is it me or does the matchup feel exactly the same or better for Ibuki? Once you learn how Fei Long is played and the match up it honestly doesn’t feel that bad. The only edge I feel he really has is his ultra 2 which forces us to use kunai vortex instead of safe jumps with OS’s. But I haven’t met a Fei Long smart enough to do that yet. If he tries to use chicken wing to get in, agamen beats it clean. And if you stay right out of rekka range he’s forced to walk forward and eat a poke. This match up at worst is 5.5-4.5 if you have good reactions in imo
It’s so mashy and scrubby because the twins block strings are god like. You just have to sit there and eat it all day. Yuns dive kick is sooooo good that you basically have to guess your way out of trouble and mash.
I thank the lord Jesus Christ that SF3 will not be adjusted/“rebalanced” <3 DevilJin-Teach me ibuki in 3s? lol. I want to learn that game so badly.
GG’s capcom. Keep making crappy games. (MVC3) Honestly, i sold my ps3 the other day and bought a ps2 and MVC1, got my anniversary collection w ST and 3s on it along w CVS2, bought a bunch of guitar heros for like 30 dollars total…and am having so much more fun now playing those games. Honestly, when you compare SSF4 and AE to SF4, ST, third strike, or alpha in terms of how high execution and fun the games are (even when you lose) SSF4/Ae look like the biggest pieces of shit ever.
Honestly, go grab yourself a copy of ST and try to do some bnb combos from New ryu or even blanka…all of that timing is hard. ALL OF IT. You can’t sit there and mash a shoryuken and “make it safe” if you have “two bars.” lol. The skill gap in that game is so much more noticeable just by watching. I dont need to see the “button inputs” to see if you mashed crouch tech or shoryuken…because its so unforgiving in terms of inputs that if you dont do it perfectly…you lose 50% of your health. GG’s. This new generation of fighting games is pure scrub fest. I’m not even excited for SF X Tekken because i know its going to be a scrub fest too. It looks FUN…but not competitive.
