hahah yeah i’ve been trying to find some setup on my own and thinking on which character will be suitable… Abel is definitely someone to consider to do this against … but probably still not the safest…
Dhalsim will probaby be the safest i think… actually now i think about it… a bunch of character without meters can be considered…

Unfortunately i hardly play this game anymore. I haven’t been to training mode any more than a couple of times with Blanka and just play for fun these days. I still go to a weekly tournament that most of the top uk players attend at.

Walking electricity pressure won’t make much of a difference in the match. Mizo doesn’t do it because it’s not a necessity.

I sometimes wonder with his game. The key seems to be patience.
The best video’s i have seen from Mizoteru,have basically consisted of him using footsies,and pokes,and down back. It drives his opponent crazy.I dont feel Blanka is ever at an advantage when attacking.
The concept of walking electricity as a viable block string would hold more weight if the character won tourneys.
I feel,that Blanka wins by turtling.
I dont think that a rush down blanka could ever beat a rushdown Bison.

There aren’t alot of good Blankas to watch. The way Mizo plays Blanka seems to be the definitive play style for it. I find T SRAI’s play more entertaining though. I try to play with a mix of turtling with moments of rushdowns. It seems was designed to deal with shotos and I always found those matches less difficult. I actually find Sim to be his hardest matchup followed by Cammy. I can atleast bait Cammy but to bait Sim you have to close the distance.

It was a super cancel.
You input the super motion at the same time as the ball.

Not what I meant. Somehow, even though it seems to be a super cancel off a blanka ball, it doesn’t land. Can anyone tell me why this is?
I think because he did so many pokes before the ball he was out of range? looks like he got pushed out of range of the super.
Akuma has a pretty far reel back animation when crouching, that coupled with he basically did a max distance cancelable ball made it whiff.
Blanka’s Super does funky things.

I’m a person who hates Blanka btw so for me to post this says alot.
Hey guys, I’ve been playing Blanka recently and trying to get a little better with the big ape. I like his shenanigans but i know he’s capable of more than just that. I have a few videos of a few fights from my battle log and would appreciate any advice or comments to advance my game. And I really could use advice on the Rufus match up with Blanka as I lose a lot in that match up. I came close in but a few things killed it for me (like missing the timing for ultra punish after Rufus’ ridiculous U2…lol)
